We have lived in Livingston a year and finally got around to having dinner at Katie's! The food exceeded our expectations and so did the service. We started with an old fashioned, ginger beer, truffle parmesan fries and brisket bombs. The drinks and appetizer were outstanding! Everyone needs to try their brisket bombs!! They melt in your mouth. Very generous portion of truffle Parmesan fries that we took home and enjoyed the next day! My husband's steak was well marbled and cooked to perfection. He was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the steak. Super tender and well seasoned! Salmon was fresh with a yummy sauce. For dessert we had creme brûlée. It was some of the best and we order it everywhere we go. You can't go wrong with Katie's! Highly recommend.

We were passing thru and pleasantly surprised to stop at this absolutely darling little cafe! (Finally a decent high quality menu for Livingston.) The atmosphere and decor is super cute, and the service was fabulous. We had the crab cakes, by recommendation, for an appetizer and they were very tasty. We also had the burger and pork chop, both were hearty and cooked perfectly. What a nice little gem for this town. Definitely would recommend!

For a small town to have a place like this is absolutely marvelous!! Laughing with my husband the sign says please wait to be seated, I said I bet you they will tell you to sit anywhere. Just the the lady in back says "please sit anywhere you would like". We grabbed a table and were given two menus and our drink order was taken. We both decided on the BOB, burger on a board. The bacon jam was delicious, really could not taste the cheese flavors. Burger was cooked to perfection. Be prepared for your hands to get messy. I decided to eat mine with a fork and knife. Hubs had his hands dripping but was a happy burger eater. Fries were also very good. Service was spot on! Had to ask for another glass or water but other than that friendly and quick. Now my only regret I did not get a brownie or a massive cookie.

Amazing dinner on a delightful porch. Unexpectedly excellent fried pimento cheese balls! Salmon and shrimp and grits were wonderful. The seasonal macaroons - German chocolate, pumpkin, peach -

Powdery cake probably used about 2 gallons flour

Service mean cake icing fell on the counter. She had gloves on and she picked it up and put it back on the cake macaroons told us the wrong flavor and the lady had hair on the plate that she took to us and then she said oh no that happened earlier

Came here today in the afternoon & this is my new favorite place !! Yumm yumm yumm !! I had the best soup I've ever had !! It was roasted poblano peppers & white cheddar cheese soup. It was so delicious that when my husband asked How is it, he wanted me to say, Wanna try some? But I ended up eating the bowl and just one spoon left. I said Oh I'm sorry, you want the last spoonful? Lol The decor is sooo cute ! I love it. I wanna do our kitchen in the color of the place. We're in town just for one day, so glad I found it today so I could go back tomorrow !!

The deep fried goat cheese with lavender infused honey is 10/10. It's a must try.

First time at Katie's was in the morning for breakfast. Incredible (it was the brisket and eggs btw). So that piqued my interest. Cut to hours later and I decided I needed cocktails, apps and dessert. The deep fried goat cheese with lavender infused honey is an absolute must try. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the establishment is owned by locals. There simply isn't a better place in Livingston. It's a must try.

    The mimosa was very good.

I rate this a three because the service was awesome! The food could use a little improvement. I got the sliced turkey avocado bacon sandwich. It was dry no mayo, ranch, etc. it came with "fries" (sliced potatoes, my favorite) they had a lot of salt! I tried brushing it off, but there was quite a bit.

What amazing food and plating. The Deviled eggs are not what you would expect, they know about flavor pairing and it is obvious with these. Fried goat cheese was also delicious. I went with the SOB for my meal and it was delicious and unlike any brisket sandwich that you have had before. The staff was friendly, helpful and always there with a refill or anything else when needed. Katie's is well decorated and a the type of place that Livingston needs.

The pastries are…read moreabsolutely gorgeous--artisanal, delicate, and made with a level of craftsmanship you rarely find outside of Europe. They don't offer gluten-free options, but they do use flour imported directly from France, which is very different from U.S. flour. According to the staff, no one has ever had an issue with gluten intolerance here, which makes their approach unique and worth noting. The coffee is just as impressive. I always judge a coffee shop by its Americano, and Stella's passes the test--smooth, bold, and simple, the way it should be. Overall, a beautiful little French bakery with pastries that are almost too pretty to eat (almost ) and coffee that makes you want to linger a little longer. A gem for Livingston!

The pastries had a gorgeous presentation and delightful flavors to match. The crusts for the quiches were perfection. The pastries we tried had an incredibly fresh croissant texture and wonderful flavor. The coffee blend and tea blend were delightful. Our only critique was that the Quiche Lorraine was a little saltier than we prefer. We're visiting from Atlanta but hope to get by here at least one more time and try more menu items before we return home.
