Came here Saturday morning for an early lunch. It's such a cute little spot, and I was intrigued by their desserts, breakfast, and pizza. My husband wanted breakfast, but I decided to try their pizza as I cannot pass up a good pizza. The crust was just the right balance of crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The pizza itself was delicious and big enough to split (I got the smallest one). I did get a bite of one of my husbands pancakes, and I can't wait to come back and have those as well. Their pastry display on the way out also looked incredible. Our service was fast and friendly, and even though it was a busy day we did not have issues getting parking outside on the street. We will definitely be back!

Walked into Paulette's on a weekend morning--got greeted right away. They told us it'd be about 10-15 minutes for a table, which was fine, but then the owner saw us, stepped in, and just made it happen. Pulled two tables together, sat us down without fuss. That kind of thing goes a long way. We ordered the Tartufo Pizza--fire. Topped with burrata, and I didn't leave a trace. Also got Paulette's Breakfast, which came with a little spread of items: a fresh baguette with butter and jam, a pancake crème brûlée (yeah, that exists), and a croissant with cream. Nothing over the top, but everything was done well. Good ingredients. That's all it takes. Margherita Pizza was solid too. We sat close to where they make the pizzas and got to see both of ours go into the oven--nice touch. Service was smooth the whole time. A few different staff members checked on us, and the owner came around more than once to make sure everything was good. You can tell they actually pay attention. Place is small, no surprise it gets busy, but they make it work. Feels a little like a café you'd find tucked away in Paris, but without trying too hard. Just doing their thing. Definitely worth checking out. I'd go back.

Why 5 stars? Because this place is just all-around awesome. --- --- --- I have had Paulette Cafe on my to-visit list for as long as I can remember, but finally had the opportunity to stop in recently. I'm so mad it took me so long. In an effort to not bury the ledes, the Prosciutto Pizza was one of the best pizzas I've had in all of the greater Houston area. I will think about it for quite some time, and those thoughts will probably end up with me making a return visit in the very near future. What's crazy is that, despite my highest level of praise of that pizza, it wasn't even my favorite thing that we ate! The Croque Monsieur was perfect. I am so lucky that my wife only ate about 25% of this because it was pure crack to me. We also ordered some french onion soup and some beignets, which were just okay, but we were able to to end on a strong note. There was some kind of peach concoction dessert crepe and we absolutely loved it. Throughout the whole experience here, we just felt like everything was made with quality ingredients. It definitely reminded us a lot of eating in Europe. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful staff, and delicious food. They even charged my phone while I ate. Picked up some beignets to go (:

One of my favorite places when I'm in the area! Simple dishes.. delicious beignets: raspberry & plain. Ask for a side of chocolate dip. Light and fluffy and addicting!

Can't rave about this place more. The staff is open and outgoing. The coffee is on point. And the pâtisserie is devine.

What a gem in Downtown Conroe. Quaint French themed with outstanding food. French country breakfast and Crepes with bananas and strawberries. One to add to your list if you haven't been.

    The most amazing desserts

We are OBSESSED with Paulette Café! Had the Quiche Lorraine and WOW--the most moist eggs, the most delicious crust, and the salad was so fresh! My husband got the Crêpe Burger and said it was to die for. I had a bite and the flavors were absolutely fantastic! Honestly, it doesn't matter what you order here--coffees, desserts, breakfast, teas--it's ALL delicious and hot! The people are amazing, the place is clean, organized, and absolutely lovely. Pro tip: Make a reservation because they're always packed (and for good reason!). Natalie, the owner, is fabulous. Her husband cooks the most amazing food. And Michael? Pure magic as your server! Seriously, this place has our hearts!

The atmosphere was very cute and welcoming, I love the French theme! The food is incredible, as well as the baked goods. It seems to be incredibly authentic, and I learned the owners actually came over from France! JR was our server and he was very attentive and warm, he had great recommendations from the menu. A beautiful cafe that was missing from downtown Conroe, and Paulette Cafe is doing a great job filling that void!

I have been here before to try the crapes but came in this time for the pizza and past and both are to die for! The service is fabulous too! Very friendly and inviting.

Great French breakfast/lunch spot! Best cappuccino ever! Will definitely go again! They use French flour to make their homemade pizzas in a pizza oven shipped over from France! Everything is pretty much scratched made! It's a cute spot to have a date!

The service was quick, polite and respectful. Thr crepe i orders, apple pie, was one of the best things I've eaten in a very long time. Not just the best crepe, but over meals. Highly recommend this place if you are in Conroe. I am angry at myself for living here for two years and just now trying it! I WILL be back!

We had a voucher for a complimentary dessert soufflé, but the savory option sounded too far tempting to pass up. So we gave in and ordered both! The Jambon & Gruyère Soufflé was the perfect balance of a custardy, airy, and fluffiness. The Strawberry Soufflé arrived looking stunning, the dramatic slow pour built the right amount of excitement, and the first bite was absolutely worth the wait. A cappuccino was essential to round out the sweetness of the dessert. While the lack of latte art was a bit letdown, it was still a great pairing. I find this a bit high for afternoon dining and all we had to drink was iced tea. My marshmallow soup had a good flavor but it was served warm and not hot which ruined the soup for me. For my entree I had the mushroom soufflé. The portion is huge and although it tasted good the texture gets very boring and monotonous. The strawberry dessert soufflé was also very large and came with a sweet sauce that you're supposed to pour onto it. It was mushy and soupy and extremely sweet. The apricot iced tea was the star of the show. I'm glad I experienced Rise Soufflé but I'm afraid it's a One & Done for me.

We came with friends and made an early reservation, which I highly recommend when dining at a restaurant of this caliber. We were greeted and seated promptly and immediately impressed by the upscale yet comfortable decor. It is an elegant restaurant, but I would recommend casual nice attire. Our booth was extremely comfortable for a party of four and featured high backed seating that provided privacy without seeing other diners behind or across from us. Our waiter greeted us warmly and walked us through the drink options. For dinner, we ordered the lasagna and the carbonara. Both dishes were made with fresh, high quality ingredients and were absolutely delicious. The carbonara had a rich cream sauce that clearly tasted homemade, using whole ingredients. It was not oily or overly buttery like you find at many other restaurants. The balance of ham and sauce was spot on and made the dish perfect. The lasagna was impressive, almost like a layered cake, with what seemed like ten layers of pasta, excellent quality meats, sauce, ricotta, and cheese. Both dishes were very generous portions. We started with a Caesar salad that was perfectly prepared. The dressing was flavorful without being too salty or overpowering with anchovy, and the croutons were excellent. We also enjoyed a German Riesling that paired very well with our meals. For dessert, we ordered the Oreo cheesecake and the tres leches cake. The cheesecake was perfectly prepared, rich, and well balanced, while the tres leches was wonderfully sweet, moist, and executed perfectly. To finish the evening, we had Americanos, which were excellent tasting coffees and a great complement to dessert. The service truly stood out. Our waiter had a great personality and was attentive without being overbearing. I have seen other reviews mention overly attentive staff, but that was not our experience at all. He checked in appropriately, kept drinks refilled, and made sure everything was going well. The decor throughout the restaurant is comfortable, upscale, and inviting. The booths were plush, table settings were clean and well organized, and dirty dishes were cleared promptly and efficiently. Overall, I give TerraVino a solid five stars. It was a wonderful dining experience with excellent food and service. I would confidently say this is the best Italian food I have had in The Woodlands so far. It is absolutely worth the price, reservations are highly recommended, and I will definitely be returning again.
