Vet #10 & counting 2. Too many unqualified vets trained abroad (islands & East) 3. Poor craft of knowledge 4. Poor cust svc 5. Unsavory & less than mentally sound techs 6. Creepy vets These are just a few gd reasons why we travel so far. Our Darby Darling: We lost our paw princess Sat., 7am on 4/24/21 as she quietly fell asleep in death over nite. Windermere Vet #10: We went to our 10th Windermere vet 3 miles fm our hm. We decided to engage the Windermere vet, during the pandemic, for just such an emerg. Their Sat. hrs. were 8am-1230pm but it was dark bet. 8am-10am. We saw 6 cars at the annex bld, knocked on the glassdoor, a male waved for us to wait, turned sideways, cont. on his call, not mindful enough to call another staffer, & we waited til 10am. They kept us waiting fm 8am-10am. We were the only customer car in the lot & all lites were off. We finally called Countryside, left, & took the hr. drive down the 429 to I4. Countryside: We wiped our well groomed little girl, dressed her in her lovely yellow floral dress, laid her on her fuchsia ladybug blanket, rolled her yellow blankie under her head, & placed her in her cozy bed. We were rec'vd with compassion & Our Darby girl will recv an honorably rest fm her final journey.

They even played dress up and watched Christmas movies. There is no one else we would trust to watch our dog Henry. He's like our child and we love him so much. She understands and takes excellent care of him every time. She also doesn't watch other dogs while she's watching your dog. She has her own two dogs and they are very gentle and playful. Henry loves visiting them and having a puppy vacation.

Albert has helped us figure out the best ways to come alongside our mom to help with daily tasks (laundry, light cleaning, dog poop pickup, etc), but is done in a way that is not overbearing and allows mom to feel respected and not less than because she needs help. The first time: 1) Xandra said she'd text me about them and send photos. She sent nothing. I asked her about it when I picked them up and she said, "I was too busy." Period. 2) We went to get the cats and my babes were lying on the throws I brought in, which were soaked with what seemed like a mixture of pee and water, AND several feces were smeared on the throws. 3) I brought exactly how much food they would eat in 12 days with notes on how much to feed them. I got almost half of it back! My youngest, 3 years, felt super skinny when I picked him up. 4) The cats were each to get nail trims. Xandra said she could only do two. Get a helper, maybe? 5) I brought the kennel a bag of litter. They said to if I wanted the cats to have what they're used to. The bag lasts a week at home. The cats were boarded 12 days and I got about 2/3 of it back. 6) Xandra started to collect money even though I had paid in full when I dropped them off. Then she texted me a receipt (which included only 3 cats) for a lesser amount than I originally paid. (I got a receipt when I paid.) ... A fiasco from beginning to end. The cats came home traumatized and hungry." What a JOKE! HORRIBLE PEOPLE WASTING YOUR MONEY AND NOT ACTUALLY CARING FOR PETS!

Duke sat right next to her like he had known her forever. She sent pictures and videos the whole time, and one of my cats who usually hides from everyone actually came out and hung around her -- that has never happened before!
