Then was told not to bring her much because she didn't have much fur (she's old). We took it as an honest comment. However, we took our other dog (a 5 lb. Shih Tzu). When he was picked up we were told to find another groomer because, they said, he had a seizure. Well he's 10 yrs old and he has NEVER had a seizure. If he had one it was because of the groomer's mishandling. No he doesn't like his face trimmed but I could hold his face in my hand and he would let me trim even around his eyes. Sooo what do YOU think???

Not sure if the change in policy but they will not groom older dogs with any medical issues. Two…read moreof my dogs have Tracheomalacia, one has Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca (the groomer claimed it was contagious conjunctivitis - she is not a vet). and the oldest has arthritis. I was told by the groomer that because of the tracheomalacia they will not groom my dogs anymore. Luckily Halifax Humane society has a great groomer and will take ALL dogs.
