The staff have all been through their own battles with addiction and recovery, and they clearly care about their charges. If you want to be coddled at a luxury resort just to relapse in a matter of days, then by all means try your luck somewhere else. But if you want the tools for real recovery, if you want to reclaim peace in your life, and you want a place that's still pretty damn nice for the money, you should give The Owls Nest a try.

Everyone is friendly, compassionate, and truly dedicated to making sure my mom is well cared for--both in her daily needs and her medical care. She genuinely feels like she's part of a family there, and that means the world to us. It's truly a blessing! I'd like to give a special shout‑out to a few staff members who have been especially wonderful in caring for my mom: Tim and Teresa, some of her primary nurses, and her nursing assistants, Jennilyn and Amy. I also want to recognize Jasmine, who always makes sure my mom gets out, participates in activities, and enjoys what's going on around her. And there are so many others--like Nadine, Mary, Christy, Pam, and LaToshia--who each have played a role in her care in meaningful ways. My mom is a patient there and has been here several weeks…read more I feel they are under staffed therefore unable to provide services and the care my mother is paying for, deserves and needs. I spoke with one of the office staff about my concerns. She said she would check in to all concerns. My mother is very weak, yes she has a few serious health concerns. That's why it is very important that she gets proper nutrition, which they do not supply. She is diabetic and today while I was there they are giving her tater tots, fried chicken tenders with applesauce,cooked carrots, biscuit and yogurt with whole milk to drink. They just drop off the tray and expect her to open everything and feed herself. If you choose to place your family members here ask questions and if something doesn't look of feel right check into it, report it and do a yelp review to make others aware. This facility needs to do better, much better.

My father is here and he's pretty much 100% disabled. Ive visited him here several times and I'm…read morenot impressed. It seems that being thst he's bedridden no one cares. In my visits not one time did a nurse walk in to check on him or the gentlemen he shares a room with. There was a stinch in the air, very unpleasant at that. However I did notice that those residents who are some what able body and can move around with walkers or wheelchairs are active and being paid attention to. If you have mobility I'd say it is a somewhat decent place but if you are bedridden I'd say no.
