We were disappointed and embarrassed. This arrangement from The Flower Basket was for a wake from several friends of the deceased and they were shaking their heads in disbelief when they saw your arrangement. The charge for this was $140 +tax+delivery (which by the way was across the street) It looks like the bouquet was purchased at a supermarket for around $20 and thrown in a vase or perhaps the bouquet was even recycled. Either way, it was not even close to being worth it. I guess it must be my own stupidity to think that the bouquet would look similar to what is on The Flower Basket website and as described in person by your staff. Never again! BTW, I even emailed them my concerns a few days ago and got absolutely no reply. No way to run a business. Avoid The Flower Basket at all costs. read more

I ordered flowers to be delivered to Nolan's Funeral home on June 27th, 2024. I spoke with a woman at The Flower Basket three times to make sure the flowers would be delivered on Sunday June 30th. I was reassured that they would be. Nolan's does not have refrigeration for flowers. I received an emailed receipt that the flowers would be delivered on June 30th. The flowers were delivered on June 29th. This was the spray, from the deceased's son, that went on the casket. It was very expensive and very wilted. It looked terrible. read more

I had a very bad experience with this company. I ordered an arrangement based on the online pictures and what I received was nothing like the image. Not only that, it was not worth the money that this business charged me. I ordered my arrangement over the phone thankfully, as I was able to select a Sunday delivery online however when calling the business, they stated they don't deliver on Sunday. I was told I could pick it up on Saturday to save the delivery charge. The woman I spoke to did not mention anything in regards to a charge for using a credit card. When I got in the store, the woman told me about this and the charge was 5$. While that wouldn't be a big deal, based on the arrangement I received, I wouldn't have spent more money than they were already charging me. The arrangement I received was wrapped with little effort as the cellophane had a massive hole on one side. When I had to unwrap the arrangement before gifting it, I noticed flowers that were droopy, and multiple leaves with brown and black spots. And let's remember it looks nothing like the arrangement online. Bottom line: do yourself a favor and do not order flowers from this establishment. read more

I ordered a bouquet of Peonies for my mom on Mother's Day. I called to place an order and they were very helpful. When we picked up the bouquet they were absolutely beautiful, just as described. Two days after Mother's Day, more than half the bouquet were dying way quicker than they should have. On day three, I called them back to let them know what happened. Without any hesitation, they put together a new bouquet and delivered it to our house free of charge just a few hours after I called. They were very understanding and apologetic. Placed my order a week ago to be delivered for my mother's birthday on February 4th. I received a call today, the day it was to be delivered, that it was going to be an extra $10 because it's so close to valentines day. The owner, Robin Benhorin, admitted that her employee made the mistake but there was nothing she could do about the price increase. It's your company and your employee made the mistake of course you can do something! Great "customer service." So I had to decide between being extorted on the day of delivery or have my mother go without flowers for her birthday. I don't even live in the state so I had no other options. The owner was unsympathetic and I do not recommend anyone going here. read more

Used the vendor for our wedding by suggestion of a family friend. The vendor was very hard to schedule times to meet. She was unresponsive and often cancelled scheduled appointments. She often seemed too busy with other work to schedule time to sit down and go over arraignments, she was very inflexible. The center pieces were pretty but our bouquets were lackluster. read more

From the moment we walked into the shop, we were greeted warmly by Robin and the rest of the staff. Apart from the shop being adorable in general, Robin herself was just an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened to my ideas, and then offered her own expert ideas and the outcome was better then I could even imagine. My wedding flowers turned out so gorgeous. When the bouquets arrived the day of the wedding they literally took my breath away. The quality of the flowers were outstanding. She stayed in touch with us the entire time, and let us know everything was going smoothly. She even helped with our slightly odd table centerpiece idea, and got extremely excited about the idea. We wanted to carve the table numbers into fake pumpkins, and she was so thrilled about the idea and helped make the idea even better by adding a wreath and flowers at the base. I order flowers numerous times through the year for many occasions. I wanted to try a new florist as some of the arrangements I have got in the past have been the repetitive. The first piece I ordered was for Thanksgiving. I specifically asked for no carnations as the person I was ordering for doesn't like them. Well my arrangement was full of carnations and didn't look anything like the picture. I called and was told I live to far (7 miles away) and they couldn't get a driver to go back out. They offered me a credit so I said fine I will give you another chance. I ordered an arrangement for Christmas. It came a day early and AGAIN was not what I asked for. I asked for all roses and specifically said I would pay extra. They promised me there was going to be no carnations and all roses. In a premium order there are 3 roses!!!! I ordered five centerpieces for my Mother's 70th Birthday celebration, which was yesterday, and I could not be happier. I wanted a casual, summer/August flower arrangement in a glass container, and that's what I got. We discussed certain flowers and that's what was delivered. They actually delivered the flowers early (which was good, because I had a cake being delivered and we changed rooms due to weather) and that was appreciated. I recently went to the Flower Basket in Northport to buy a bouquet for my girlfriend and had a very unfortunate experience. The woman who helped me with my arrangement was very disrespectful and condescending to say the least. I am 23 years old with a full time job, yet, she was convinced the order was, for whom she kept referring to as a "little girl", and kept doing whatever she could to get me to spend less money for my own sake? We agreed on an arrangement and when I went to write the card, she stood over my shoulder and read the entire thing! And to top it all off, I gave her the address and told her which door at the office id like them delivered, and she told me shed been delivering flowers there for years and that the entrance I gave her was wrong! Little does miss flower basket know, there are several competitors in this town, and she just lost a frequent customer. read more

The ladies here are amazing! My husband paid them a visit late on a Friday afternoon to pick up a bouquet for our fist year wedding anniversary. He came home with the most beautiful arrangement of purple and orange flowers I have ever seen. He told me the ladies here were more then helpful and eager to help.
