The place is an old gas station From the outside they've tried to make it presentable as a flower shop and have done a decent job. The staff was very friendly and they have a very nice selection of flower arrangements with prices that were reasonably in today's market. During ordering and delivery, everyone I talked to was kind and helpful and the flowers were beautiful. I am out of state and ordered flowers for a friend. When they tried to deliver, she wasn't home. They actually called me and asked if it would be alright for them to leave the flowers on the porch. Since I knew she was in town I told them to go ahead and leave them, so they carefully placed them in a protected place and left them. That has been very unusual for me during the last few years. Most places where I have ordered just leave the flowers and hope that they don't freeze or die because it's too hot. I don't remember the last time I had a real telephone call asking what I wanted. No stars. I live in California and placed a "specific" phone order for my daughter's 24th birthday bouquet to be delivered in Meridian, Idaho the same day. My first question was, do you have pink gardenias? This is my daughter's symbolic flower that bloomed in my garden when I found out I conceived her. She said they didn't have a gardenia plant. But they had the individual gardenia, she could ask the designer to spray it pink, I thought perfect! I also asked to add white roses other pink and white flowers and "no carnations" within my price budget. She said it would be on the smaller scale, which was understandable. The concept was to be a symbolic single pink gardenia. What arrived? A single "pink hydrangea" with some white roses and pink & white "carnations" I specifically said "pink gardenia" and "no carnation's". She switched the order. When I called to discuss this, the designer emphatically listen to me, then called her and I was told by the designer that the owner said we discussed a hydrangea. And that I never said gardenia. Or anything about not wanting carnation's. That's funny, because I received this lesson from her on the phone, on how rare and expensive gardenias are. But she could did have gardenia stems which were expensive she continued to educate me. I use to grow gardenias in my garden. All I wanted was my daughter to receive this special message through a single gardenia. In the end, I got charged a fortune for something I didn't order. As a previous business owner myself and I can't imagine arguing with a customer about what the customer communicated. Further, as a designer myself, when it comes to flowers, it is unexcusable. In the end, I spoke to the designer, he called the owner, who denied I asked for a gardenia. She switched the order and it was wrong. Pretty, but wrong. He told me her notes said hydrangea and she didn't bother to specify no carnation's. There was no attempt on the owners behalf to admit the error. She told the designer, I request a hydrangea. I'm beside myself. I repeated the flower name 5 times in the conversation with her. Gardenia. Period. No carnations. There was no offer to rectify this or provide a resolution to resend my daughter her gardenia. Further, I was told I ordered something I didn't. Just bad business etiquette. read more

I also, without going into detail, said this needed to be a "cheerful" bouquet. My daughter and I sent this together and when she saw the picture her comment was, "Mom, this is a $10 bouquet!!!"
