Before golf we ate lunch at the small pub in the club house. Food is very good and the staff quite professional. My husband was delighted to find Stella Artois on tap. The golf course is very well maintained and mostly dry. The course winds through the housing area which does have some rental unit town houses. There are many chances to get into the rough, water, or sand traps. The golf carts are all battery powered and have a lot of spunk. The course keeps their wetlands protected. It's a fun place worth a chance to play if you can get an invite.

Lely was $165. After 11 am. on golf now and free range balls, free water bottles and amazing condition at Mustang. Note- I will advise tomorrow on Stoney Brook...better be amazing at this price. On several occasions, I have arrived at the golf course for my tee time and have to wait for a golf cart and nearly miss my tee time. When the GM schedules an outside, non member, tournament, it is the members that don't get a golf cart because they don't always have enough for both members and non members.

Perhaps lining up the food stations around the perimeter and bringing the dining tables to where the current food lines are would not lose dining table count...or creating a T station.... would be better. That being said, our waitress was not too on the ball and was unsure how to host a table. No pleasantries, no offer of coffee, no removal of dishes and about a half hour wait for payments to be processed and charge errors to be corrected. She needs to shadow another seasoned employee for a while. Because I know the business, I do allow for every kind of calamity and am not bothered, but like to give advice. My group, on the other hand, was very confused and disappointed. The food was good. The service needs cleaning up. The set up needs a redo for efficiency. I would recommend this place for brunch but be prepared for some compromise. It is a professional 6 out of 10. Once improvements are made, it can elevate to 9 out of 10.
