Excellent coffee and environment. It's been a while since my wife and I have been here and a few things have changed. There isn't a couch to sit at on the back wall. They have a lot more tables and bars, but one thing hasn't changed, and that's the overwhelming great service and great drinks. One of the best coffee houses in ETX. I forgot how great the service and product was, but glad I had a chance to experience again today before church at Green Acres. Which beeteedubs you need to check out if you are in the Tyler area. Stop here for fantastic espresso! I ordered the John Wayne and enjoyed it immensely. So many flavors going on in this espresso, I wish I had thought to grab a bag of beans to go. This is a neat spot for really good coffee and good, but overpriced, pastries. Love the atmosphere and the service is very good with smiles and courtesy. I enjoyed a blueberry scone but for the price will probably stick to beverages on future trips. Don't be afraid of the tiny parking lot, the garage across the street is free. read more

I love the foundry! The coffee is always perfect! And the keto quiche never disappoints! More than anything, it is a great environment to get work done. The coffee is good not great. I love the atmosphere and the seating is great inside. They have a good variety of pastries, snacks and sweets. The environment is great for working or meeting up with friends. I got a small latte - no flavor and it was $4.75! And when I say small, I mean an 8 oz! Super pricey!! Also, parking is terrible! You can park in the parking garage across the street but if you're wanting to run in and run out it seems like a hassle to me. A tiny bit high on my price scale for a cup. The latte art is beautiful but I'm usually disappointed by the warmth of my latte. I don't order extra hot because I feel like it changes the flavor but I also want my coffee to be a bit warmer. Also, they need more parking! I'm absolutely NOT paying to park at the garage to get a coffee when they don't validate parking. :/ Flavors are good. Staff is friendly. read more

The Foundry is a mainstay of Downtown Tyler. This is a hotspot for college students to study and grab some lattes and pastries! I absolutely love their lavender syrup, and their rose syrup is a great local choice. I have made it from the office and back during my lunch break just to have some of that fantastic espresso! Beautiful little gem in Tyler, TX. My significant other and I were long distance for a while, and would meet at the Foundry as our middle point. I like their cold brews, both for taste and also because it did its job of keeping me awake for the long drives back home. There is plenty of space to get work done, meet up with friends, or just chill. The parking lot is teeny, but there's a free parking garage just across the street. The baristas are friendly and attentive - one noticed when I wasn't drinking my hot green tea and asked if there was anything wrong (there wasn't; I just wanted it to cool down a little more). I have never felt pressured to leave or buy more food, etc. whenever I visit, and I appreciate that they're not pushy. Although S.O. and I no longer have a reason to meet up in Tyler, I sometimes find myself missing the Foundry! read more

I hesitate in writing a review for this place. Coffee is great, service is great, environment is great, and even the crowd is great. No complaints whatsoever. The guys working were friendly enough, one more so than the other. The bottomless coffee cup for $2.75 with tax was a great deal and the coffee tasted quite tasty. The Foundry is across the street from ETX Brewing Co. and this place is also good for people watching or groups of people socializing.
