This little restaurant has a lovely and clean atmosphere, and are known for all organic rice bowls. I opted for the fish option that came with rice and cabbage. I really wanted to love it, but it was a bit bland. It could do with a heavy hand of seasoning. However, I support their concept and would be willing to return and try something else.

(There are some other coffee shops in Paris that are similar in style, but if you *don't* eat animals and their secretions, any time you go to one of those "cool type" shops you have to settle for just a cuppa.) No! Us vegans want something to EAT, by jove. Thank God for Grounded. Everything is delicious and creatively presented, the hot chocolate is actually made with melted dark chocolate (um, SO GOOD,) and their menu is always evolving with the seasons. AMAZING food, guys. I'll be back -- hungry -- for more of their savory fare.

The two items we ordered were both SO good. We ordered some sort of toast that has almond butter, hazelnut butter, jam, and coconut flakes. It had the perfect amount of sweetness to satisfy a slight morning sweet tooth. The other item we ordered was the bowl of the month (or maybe it's the bowl of the week?) It, too, was wonderful, and so filling! Grounded is really cute and cozy inside, but I will say that it was HOT in this small space. Also, there isn't much seating in here. Maybe enough for 12-15 people. Still, the food here is incredible and the man working at the counter was so kind. Definitely stop in here if you can!

I had asked via social media for a menu a few times and was told I would be sent a picture of the menu for the week and then never recieved it. So the communication is lacking a little. Overall I would recommend this place if you are in the area for coffee and dessert, otherwise if Cloud Cakes is closer I would go there instead.

I ordered the CROQUE-MONSIEUR FOREVER and my bf had the MAC'N'CHEESE CHICKYCHURRI. Both were delicious. I had been wanting to try croque-monsieur since I was a teen but there hadn't been a vegan version available to me until this trip. I know it's just a glorified grilled ham & cheese, but I just wanted to have it in France. It was just as I imagined- crispy toasted bread with ooey gooey cheese and "ham"; the perfect comfort food. I took off one star due to a botched dessert situation. We had ordered the Saint-Honore, which was still in the case but when it came time to bring our dessert, they had given it to another table. They had offered to bring it out our table while we were still eating but we asked for it to be brought out after we finished our entrees. Whatever was left were items that weren't as unique to France so it was disappointing to order a cheesecake which we could also get back in the US. If I'm rating based on the food and ambiance (without the dessert mishap), this place would definitely have 5 stars. That mishap with the dessert was a crummy way to end our meal. Oh well. Still give this place a try and enjoy their market afterwards. There were plenty of delicious things in the fridge like mock meats, tofu, cheeses and other vegan items for purchase. Also available for purchase were vegan-friendly clothing, stationary, cookbooks, shoes, and unique gifts.

My mom (who doesn't eat a vegan diet) tried it and she loved it as well! The second thing I ordered was a chocolate chip and hazelnut cookie. Also, just a heads-up, on Yelp it shows that there is a check-in offer that you can use here, but when I showed the offer to the owner who was working in the shop, she said they don't use Yelp, so the offer discount couldn't be applied. Slow and inattentive service with mostly disappointing food…read more The spring rolls tasted like they used a whole wheat type of wrapper, which was too dense and the dipping sauce was weak sauce. No flavour. Papaya Salad was sweet and just watery--wrong and disappointing. Broccoli Vegetable Stirfry was tasty but it came out first and then I had to wait over 20 minutes for anything to eat it with. No rice, no noodles came that we had ordered until the Broccoli Stirfry had gotten cold. Terrible timing. Instead of coming over to ask how everything was, the owner who took our order just avoided eye contact the entire time I was waiting and not eating. The Beef Curry was watery with absolutely no developed flavours. The Singapore Vermicelli when it finally came was excellent. It was so much like I remember pre-vegan and I didn't miss the egg at all. This is a very hard dish to find anywhere vegan with the same flavour I expect so I will miss being able to have this! The Sticky Rice was good when it finally arrived. It captured the smoky banana-leaf flavour well and the rice was just sticky enough with the right amount of little bits that were sweet, nutty, salty and slightly tangy. We were ushered to a tiny table that did not fit all our food so this made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. They wrapped the spring rolls in a bag to create more space afterwards but didn't put the spring rolls in anything, just literally stuck them in a plastic bag. Disappointing.

You have the choice between three types of burgers, or bowls, or salads. There are some side dish and dessert options as well. Unlike some vegetarian proteins, this patty was not overly salty or processed. It tasted natural and was very satisfying. The french fries were hot and delicious, and came with a spicy mayo dip. There was outdoor seating available which made the meal even more enjoyable on a beautiful Late Spring day. Season Square is a great option for vegan fast food in Paris.
