The moment you enter, our church volunteers welcome you and here at SMCC you can belong before you are a believer. The music is truly inspiring, especially for our Good Friday, Easter Sunday service and Christmas Eve services- Jesus is the reason for the holiday season! The worship music touches the heart and often brings tears to my eyes, I feel a lifting of my burdens during the services every time I'm here that uplifts me throughout the week! My husband and I have been attending since, 2010 for him and since 2013 for me, we met many new friends through attending Small-Groups during the weekdays. There is a huge difference in my life with this being our second marriage, marrying a someone who is a believer in Jesus Christ, we pray together to strengthen our relationship and we can forgive and overcome through our faith, trust and through prayer. I also love to serve (volunteer) in the Kids Church area by assisting the teachers and enjoying this fun time with those wonderful kids! Couple times a year we do community events outside on our grass areas. It's really fun to meet more neighbors and to volunteer for the events, Trunk/Treat and Easter Egg Hunt. The Church has several services to offer an 8 AM service, 10 AM and an 11:30 AM service, each service will fill up quickly so arrive early- enjoy a complimentary cup of tea, hot cocoa or coffee We look forward to experiencing our church every Sunday to hear a memorable sermon and enjoy our talented worship team who share their talents creating spirit filled music! But not just by the sermons but by getting involved into smaller bible studies. That is where you truly learn to connect with god. I had a major issue with titling for years, and after many years of these sermons and discussions in small groups I finally got it. I have been a christian all my life but never wanted to get more involved. SMCC is not for everyone, but it is for many! They teach the right truths and are biblically sound. Yes pastor rick may not be perfect, but that is ok he is just a man. Please don't just listen online, that is not the same. You need to be going for at least 3 months before you can make a clear judgement of any church your going to! Trust me I have been in many different kinds churches than most people have, this one is amazing! The review on titling is harsh and should be taken down until you have given this church more time! I enjoy ever worship service and it is HEAVILY focus on GOD! Some of the best worship services you can get out there. They focus on having good equipment, singers and other musicians. SMCC can give a great experience to the congregation, which is intended ALL TO GLORIFY GOD! I visited for the first time this past week and was impressed with the music. The folks singing and playing were talented and passionate. From what I gathered online as well as from the service, these guys are a non-denominational Christian church that really want to reach out and include people from all walks of life and belief backgrounds. I just so happened to visit on a day when they were doing communion, and the pastor beautifully explained it before the service began. I chose not to participate, but respectfully sat and enjoyed the peaceful music. I didn't feel out of place or uncomfortable. The service was centered around scripture and connecting stories from the Bible to today's time. There was a strong feeling of inclusion and love, not judgement and shame. I left feeling positive and empowered. And that's just how I like to church.
