In comes Melanie, who I happened to find by accident through a Yelp promo email. She had another shoot earlier in the day, but bc we were doing a later beach elopement ceremony and reception, she could do it! Signing the contract and working out all the details online and via email was easy. She sent me some paperwork to give her details and then we had a phone conversation to discuss and get to know one another. On the day of - she texted me, showed up exactly on time, and was a dream to work with. So friendly, so kind, so helpful. She went above and beyond for me and my family and was so easygoing. She posed us wonderfully and rolled with the punches when a few things didn't go as planned (it's a wedding, it's going to happen!). Absolutely professional. The photos we've been given so far as a preview are stunning and I can't wait to see the others. Everyone raved about how kind she was and how much they liked our photographer afterwards, and when we've sent a few photos, they've all been blown away. I feel lucky to have found Melanie, and her husband Chris, to shoot my day and would recommend her to anyone who asked me for any photos. If we need family portraits or special pics taken in the future, she's our girl!

My maternity pictures are STUNNING and I've never felt more beautiful or loved my body as much as I did then and it was my third pregnancy! I booked our fall pictures with her on my birthday for our second photography session with her! Those pictures are soooo good and my kids were so uncooperative! Summer is extremely attentive and responsive. She knew EXACTLY what I was looking for with little/no guidance/help from me. Her studio is amazing and equipped with clothing and props to meet your needs. A mom herself, she knew exactly what to do to calm the baby when he got fussy. When it came time to review our photos, I was in tears. I couldn't believe what she was able to accomplish with our little one. She made the decision of selecting a photo extremely difficult. So much variety and every photo is flawless! If you're on the fence about whether or not newborn photos are worth it - I'll tell you that I'll cherish these photos forever. DO NOT go to this business! My sister & I had photos taken in JULY 2012. The turn-around time was…read moresupposed to be 2 weeks. Photographer/Business Owner, Brandy Hamilton, is VERY unresponsive & totally unwilling to give us our photos, which by the way are sexy & suggestive, and has not even offered to give us a refund. I feel completely violated to have been ripped off, especially since she has photos of me that are of that nature. A lot of trust goes into a pin-up session & that trust has most definitely been betrayed. So I have none of the photos that I paid for & I am out $200. After several months of begging her to give us our photos, I reported this business to the Better Business Bureau, only to find that others had also reported them as well. Retro-Vice did not respond to the Better Business Bureau when contacted causing the case to be closed. It's been a full 8 months since our photography session with Brandy Hamilton. I've had a bad taste in my mouth ever since. I don't have a lot of money. I was splurging to do something nice for my sister while I was visiting. So spending $200 is kind of a big deal to me. I have never been treated this way by any business in my entire life. And I will continue to let everyone know what a rip-off this is until I get my photos & my money back.
