never showed up. I've had a lot of problems getting contractors to show up because of all the building going on around here, and the tornado last year. These guys weren't the only ones to say they were coming and not show up. all I wanted was an estimate on what it would cost to fix them. 3 separate companies (including these guys) never showed up for an agreed upon appointment. I would highly recommend this company. They were able to fix our opener within a few hours of calling. They went over all the different options with me and were very patient and polite. We called on a Saturday to schedule a repair for Monday. We gave them our location and times available which they agreed to a morning repair time. They text the morning of supposedly on their way out to let us know there will be an additional $45 fuel charge for being out of area. That was not divulged when the location was given on Saturday. He said he didn't map it out till just now and he can't control our location in relation to his office. read more

Yesterday afternoon my garage door broke and I called The Garage Door Medic. The lady who answered the phone was courteous and very professional, assuring me a serviceman would contact me shortly. Within 10 minutes, Alex, their service technician called and was here very shortly. He also was very courteous and professional. He looked at the door and assessed the problem, and told me what the cost would be to repair it. He did a great job. I appreciate how quickly the company responded. I highly recommend them. Absolutely terrible. I think this was my worst contractor experience EVER and this company didn't even end up doing work for me! My first experience with them was about two years ago, when my garage door came off of its tracking. Obviously having my garage door hanging half open wasn't going to work for me, so I called The Garage Door Medic to have them come and fix the door. There was a lot of back and forth communication, but the man I spoke to said they would be at my house at 10am the next day to get it taken care of for me. I thought we were on the right track, but was I wrong. I waited at my house all morning, and they never showed. I tried calling the phone number, and no one answered so I left a voicemail, to of course no call back. At this point, I couldn't wait any longer so I went to work. Around 4:30pm the same day, I received a phone call that went to voicemail, and it was The Garage Door Medic, and they said "we just went past your house and you weren't home." So I called them back IMMEDIATELY, and they didn't answer. I called repeatedly after that and the guy finally answered, and I told him I could be home in ten minutes, and he said "we're done for the day." Are you kidding me? You were just "at my house" and you can't meet me there now? So I said fine, give me the number for someone who can actually help me. He gave me the number for A-Z Overhead Door who was more than happy to help me. My second experience with the Medic was recently when my boyfriend called them to fix our garage door after a coil had snapped (I was out of town, so I would have ABSOLUTELY told him to not waste his time with that bogus business). They had communication back and forth and of course the Garage Door Medic never called him back to come and fix the coil. Such a joke of a company. How they are still in business I have no idea. They have the WORST customer service I had ever experienced. Call up A-Z Overhead Door, they are more than willing to help you. read more

So the 150 dollar repair lasted two weeks. To his credit he came back out same day and repaired again. Basically said we should replace the entire door. Only a grand. I'll give him credit his response is great. If you need same day service I'd recommend him. Just not happy with my door. He did not install it so he can't be blamed. So I'll bump it to 4 stars for the response. He did attempt to bang back in the bent bracket so maybe it will last a few more weeks. read more

I received a quote from them at the beginning of April, and accepted it the same day. They told me it would be 3 weeks before the doors came in. It has been over 6 weeks now, and I have yet to hear from them as to when they will be repairing my garage doors. Needless to say, I emailed and cancelled my order, and still never heard from them. read more

I have never left a bad review before but felt like it was necessary in this case to save other people the headache. I would definitely not recommend this company if you value having a garage door that works and good customer service. They initially put in a liftmaster product but then were not able to fix it due to them ordering the wrong part and berating me for asking them about it via text message and liftmaster for having poor customer service. I then spent time on my own ordering the right part from liftmaster and had a liftmaster certified company come and put it in with no problem or headache. Not worth the trouble to deal with a company if they can't service the product they install. read more

Garage Door Medic.......The worst company to do business with. They flaked 4 times. He would say he would come one day at a certain time. When that time arrived he would make up any excuse on why he couldn't make it. 1) Was too far from my house and wasnt going to make it on time. 2) passed by your house and no one was there (lie) he never came because someone was there all day 3) My transmission broke, sorry I cant make it......He would say one thing and then turn around and say I don't remember saying that. Back and forth conversations with this people. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!! They don't even deserve a star but I cant continue if I don't rate, ugh! read more

I highly recommend this company over Overhead Door out of Springdale, and any other in the area. When I called Garage Door Medic, the lady that answered the phone was pleasant and listened to my problem and circumstances. I then got to speak with Billy, who quoted me a price for the job, rather than inflate the process and show up and try to up sell me or gouge me. Also, after hearing my dilemma, Billy went above and beyond and worked me in that same day! Billy was very friendly, patient with my questions and concerns, and then explained everything as he worked. As a business person, I must say that Billy and his staff provide awesome communication and customer service. In addition, the price was very reasonable and very competitive against the other companies I had called for rates.
