Super cozy traditional vegan... shed. Great bread. Cakes, too! Good location next to Gaia co-op.

The enthusiastic staff attended us immediately upon arrival and led us to our table. They explained their offers, a 2 course set menu with a drink for £17 or 3 course £20, in addition to an all day happy hour celebrating their 25th Birthday ;) Their food and cocktail menu's were extensive, with individual sections detailing vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The food and cocktails were delicious and portions generous. Will definitely be returning to this fab little find! :)

We almost didn't find Las Iguanas but I'm glad we did because it was perfect. It's a good idea to get there before 7.30 as that is when their Happy Hour 2-for-1 cocktails offer ends. We both enjoyed a Bellini which the barman kindly lit up with candles (it was my birthday after all). My wife liked the idea of some guacamole so we shared that for starters. The waitress, Sophie, was very attentive, so when we moved onto the main course and my wife realised she didn't like burritos, Sophie didn't hesitate to change it for something else. In the end we both enjoyed the Bahia Moqueca, a light tasting Brazilian curry. The real treat that made me a fan however, wasn't the Latin music, fabulous decor or friendly staff but the Churros we had for dessert. I would return again for these alone. These doughnut like fingers taste amazing with the creamy De Leche dip or the dark chocolate. A dream come true. A Latin restaurant nearby that we'll both return to.

In short: avoid if you have celiac disease, this place is just another one cashing in on the fad…read more Been here twice, the first time, the gf pizza was good, although not free from cross contamination. The second time it was literally inedible. They explained they sometimes make bad batches of gf pizza dough so couldn't even remake it. We were sat outside and we could hear the staff laughing about it inside, the joke was that I'd sent it back because 'it needed more gluten', har har. Not impressed at all. The service was pretty awful both visits, aside from the problem with the 2nd visit, and terrible attitude. Service was slow and I had to ask several times for our drinks. It's an extra £2 if you have to eat gluten free, so you'd expect they'd know how to make it consistently. But no, they're not bothered about how the food tastes if it's gluten free. I should just be grateful they offer the choice. If you have celiacs and like gambling, then I would recommend. You've got a chance of eating decent pizza, and getting a stomach ache, or you might leave with nothing! Roll those dice... then wait half an hour to find out what your prize is.... Or, if you go to an 'award winning' pizza place to eat pizza, then probably give it a miss and go somewhere that knows how to make what's on their menu. Owner is now claiming not suitable for celiacs, different story when you go in. Not to mention the use of 'gluten express use 'no gluten containing ingredients'. I do make sure to review restaurants using these terms in bad faith, as it protects others with the same disease from harm.
