I bought some precious metals here a few years ago during COVID. At that time, they promised me…read morethey would buy it back for cash when I was ready to sell, as I always intended to sell it later. Their website (see attached screenshot) also offers to buy for cash. Now, they are refusing to buy for cash, claiming there is a local law preventing it, but they refuse to cite that specific law or the city code to lookup. What's worse is they say even if I opt to sell to them and get paid by check, it will take two weeks to get paid. What? They want me to wait two weeks to get paid for items that I'm handing to them that day? That sounds too sketchy. What's more, after calling around, I found other shops in town that are buying for cash, so I don't believe the claim about local laws preventing it. This shop committed fraud when selling me precious metals based on their promises to buy it back for cash, and now is still falsely advertising their services to buy for cash on their own website currently. This place seems like a scam.

I also had a necklace with a piece that needed to be reattachedand the sales associate offered to fix it and then said no charge. Now that's what I call customer service and I will be back.

James, the new owner, resolved our issue with such professionalism and to our full satisfaction. I highly recommend Raskin's to anyone looking for honesty, integrity, and fine jewelry. We are customers for life!

My…read morehusband passed away on Monday and I wanted to have his wedding band resized into a thumb ring for me and have our original engagement ring reset as the diamond had fallen out. Upon going into the store we saw many workers in there but no one seemed to care they had a customer, we were finally acknowledged by an older lady with dark hair (I wish I would of got her name) she was very rude from the beginning even with us telling her what and why we needed it done, she said in the very beginning "I don't think we can do that, but I'll ask the jeweler" after going to the back with my rings for what seemed like forever she came back out and rudely told us if he did it you'd be able to tell where he cut it and that to reset my ring it would be over $400 - it wasn't about the price it was about the absolute rudeness we received from her from the minute we walked in. I had lost my husband 2 days before that, it was hard enough going out in public but when she showed no care in the world like we were just ruining her day by being there. We decided they did not deserve our business. We decided to check another nearby jeweler while we were down there. He was the nicest guy, he quoted us a price less than half of what Raskins quoted us and had it done in an hour! It was done perfectly and NO you can not tell where he had to cut it. He even saved the piece he cut out for me! He showed remorse in why we needed it done and actually gave a shit. Sorry Raskin but you have lost my business forever. I do not usually do reviews, as I also have businesses and hate bed reviews but you earned this one. Hire people who care and like their job! Sincerely, A morning family

We saw a vacant space, so we grabbed it. It was right in front of a cool little art shop called Sedona's Tree House. Poking your head through the door is enjoyable in and of itself. It's as if you've met up with the Ents of Fangorn Forest (The Hobbit) and have been carried into a magical treehouse dream, with a giant tree climbing up through the middle of the shop. The shelves are cleverly designed from beautifully rough cut and masterfully finished planks held up in some cases with what seem to be branches growing out from under them. Hand crafted Kokopelli wind chimes, nature inspired table and wall art, and various artsy knickknacks of all sorts are beautifully displayed throughout this cozy little treehouse-themed shop. We ended up buying a beautiful sun-themed wind chime for only $25 that we're looking forward to putting up in our courtyard when we get home!
