I have used this small shop successfully for minor repairs under the past ownership, and I was impressed by the continued great customer service. I really appreciated the time they took. Unfortunately, when they examined my ring, they noticed the mounting had cracks which could lead to the diamond falling out. (They showed me). The repair would be expensive, but what shocked me was when I was told that a jeweler with different equipment might be able to laser-weld the repair for far less. This was not something I wanted to invest a lot of money in, and I really appreciated their helpfulness and giving me an option. That will be remembered when I have other needs, or someone is looking for a jeweler.

Thw wrap has 35 diamonds on each side. They each had a customer so we wanted 45 minutes. The reviews were good so we went there. They seems pressured & glum. I was given a quote of $545. He was very interested & disappointed that I was not having my Custom made gold ring with a large heart shape diamond with 3 other very large diamonds with Berma Ruby's & other precious stones. I custom designed this ring with a skilled Jeweler. We left my wedding rings there & had a very uncomfortable gut feeling that I was being overcharged. I called 3 other Jeweler's in the Prescott area. Their prices were half Afterglow Jewelers price. We picked it up the next day. I waited until after the Holidays. We were in downtown Prescott & saw that Raskins Jeweler's was still there. We walked in & the staff greeted us with large smiles in a very friendly atmosphere! They are resizing my rings plus they will check all of the They are going to put a Rhodium finish on the 2 rings so the rings with look brand new. Raskin's Jeweler's price was $260.00 with no deposit taken. An excellent price. My wedding rings with be ready in 2 weeks. Wow, I will always go with my gut feeling. That is my truth! Thinking I'd see the historic old downtowns of both Cottonwood and Jerome I got as far as the first…read moreshop in Cottonwood, J & J Antiques, and I'm almost surprised I ever emerged. J & J Antiques sits at the edge of Cottonwood's Old Town and looks from the outside like a relic from the gold rush era (which it probably is). Inside, it's a seemingly never-ending warren of what can only be called "shops". You know, an antique collective filled with little stalls, each specializing in whatever oddity the vendor sees fit to hunt down and resell. There's everything in here from the booth reselling Scrabble tiles to the guy reselling irons. I walked out of here with 3 unique necklaces for what I thought to be a most reasonable price but that's only because I exercised restraint. In today's disposable culture, these kind of shops are in sharp decline. I might not want all of the stuff on display here but I sure do want to look at it all. Cottonwood's historic district is filled with similar shops but J & J Antiques is the first place I'd send you to. They literally have everything a shop like this should. Great place.
