The woman at the front desk was very helpful and super nice. I called yesterday and they were able to get me an appointment the very next day! Overall, I found the office staff to be very easy going and professional. Once I completed my paperwork (FYI they take many different insurance plans!) my practitioner, Deborah, greeted me and showed me to my treatment room. Before we even got started with the acupuncture we first sat down to discuss my medical history and why I was there to seek treatment. Deborah was very thorough going through this process and took time to explain various aspects of my diet and how and where I could improve to help and enhance my treatment. After we got through all of that we got started. Deborah explained the entire process, including what she was doing adding why she was choosing which spots. I've been dealing with chronic neck pain for the majority of my life ever since I was involved in a car accident back in 1998. Despite seeing many doctors and specialists, not one of them were able to pinpoint what the exact issue was or maybe they just had no idea and wanted to keep prescribing me medication. About a year and a half ago, I was recommended by a friend to go see Dr. Luis Fandos at the New York Pain Consultants. I like his approach to things because he listens with an open mind and is able to merge conventional medicine with holistic approaches. He put me on a regimen that included an inflammation reducing diet along with exercise and some special stretches. I can say that without a doubt the pain is gone. There are times that I feel a tiny bit of pain getting up from bed but I just think that comes with age! I wholeheartedly recommend the good doctors at NYPC.

(I can't stand when I go to a tattoo/piercing place, nail or hair salon and people don't have conversation). She is a great artist. I chose a design that was pictured on here and saved it to my phone for her to work off of. They also have TONS of designs to choose from in the boutique. The time it took to do the design was quick and she worked fast and precise. She went over the after care instructions/ tips with me. All in all it was a wonderful experience. My henna right now is a brownish, orange color and I was told in another day it will set into that dark henna color so I can't wait ! Recommend this place for sure. Will be back :)
