The woman at the front desk was very helpful and super nice. I called yesterday and they were able to get me an appointment the very next day! Overall, I found the office staff to be very easy going and professional. Once I completed my paperwork (FYI they take many different insurance plans!) my practitioner, Deborah, greeted me and showed me to my treatment room. Before we even got started with the acupuncture we first sat down to discuss my medical history and why I was there to seek treatment. Deborah was very thorough going through this process and took time to explain various aspects of my diet and how and where I could improve to help and enhance my treatment. After we got through all of that we got started. Deborah explained the entire process, including what she was doing adding why she was choosing which spots. But the blood clot medication was not working. I had to be in the hospital on the IV for 3 days.  I couldn't move, drive, walk, I was in a wheel chair. Then they said my chemo stopped working. Then I started to wear all of the Photo Therapy patches you recommended. I did those every day faithfully.  I lived with my sister, because she was taking care of me. Now I take care of myself, I can walk, run, I can drive. I am able to do work around the house. And fully take care of myself. So I moved out of my sisters house. And a lot of my protocols that I was doing before, went by the wayside. I wasn't doing all the things I was doing in my therapy. And I started to feel something was off. So I remembered what I was doing before. And one thing was the patches. I started to wear them again, and have been wearing them for 2.5 weeks again. I have a lot more energy now. I was wearing patches for 3-4 month, in 2022. After that, in Nov 2022, they did X rays, and the doctor said that my lungs look better than 2021.  I have a girlfriend who is doing chemo and she said, I wish I did what you did, take my health into my own hands. And do all these alternative protocols.  I did chemo 4 times before and it didn't work. And it made me extremely exhausted.  My Chiropractor told me, you look like walking death. New York Pain Consultants is an amazing place that treat you with nothing but respect and are very hospitable. I cannot say good enough things about them and especially Dr. Luis Fandos. I've been dealing with chronic neck pain for the majority of my life ever since I was involved in a car accident back in 1998. Despite seeing many doctors and specialists, not one of them were able to pinpoint what the exact issue was or maybe they just had no idea and wanted to keep prescribing me medication. About a year and a half ago, I was recommended by a friend to go see Dr. Luis Fandos at the New York Pain Consultants. I like his approach to things because he listens with an open mind and is able to merge conventional medicine with holistic approaches. He put me on a regimen that included an inflammation reducing diet along with exercise and some special stretches. I can say that without a doubt the pain is gone.
