They said no, and we can still give her the teddy bear cut just shorter. We said that's ok, but please do not cut her head like this. When we picked her up, she was basically shaved. Most dogs who left this groomer looked exactly the same, seems like they only know how to do one cut. Will definitely not be returning.

She definitely knows what she's doing.. those dogs were getting taken care of and my Peppa was a happy guinea when she left. I had to run out to get cash (I totally forgot she mentioned that before I came in) and when I came back, Peppa was getting the royal treatment, laying in her "diva" bed. LOL.

The mobile groomers (two different ones) were okay, but $100 is a bit much. Juno came prancing out of Anita's today and then tried to go back in! Juno looks great and, obviously, feels great, too. I don't know what they do but it definitely works for my Shih Tzu. I'm not a big one for ribbons and neither is Juno, but Anita clipped one to her collar, which was perfect. The price is reasonable - about $40 less than the mobile groomer. Anita knows her dogs! I am a huge fan!

She then, in all her abrupt rudeness, told us she didn't want our business any more - after many years and thousands upon thousands of dollars. She lost a customer who never argued about price or tip. She didn't think, she just went with her mean knee-jerk reaction. She can be rude and impertinent. It's been a few years, but we'll never forget this scowling woman. With someone on the edge like she, I wouldn't leave a helpless animal with her. The only reason I'm posting this now is that I saw her in a store recently and it brought up the bad feelings. Appointments are important since In The Doghouse is a one woman operation. I would say to give Pam at least a week's lead time and at Holidays two to three weeks lead time will be necessary. Pam's worth it and there's no other groomer I would trust with my sweet little dog.
