VERY DISAPPOINTED...this was an act of hair-isy. It's really frustrating when you go to Barber shop, provide an image of the haircut you want, and get something totally different. The worst part is that the haircut I got was uneven and all jacked up. I scheduled an appointment to get a haircut from the owner since he's highly recommended on Yelp. However, I didn't get him as he had a phone call to address. First, he said "I'll be right back make yourself comfortable", then he states "oh, I have another phone call to make, can someone else cut your hair?" I get that life happens but it's really unprofessional to lead your customers on. Also, the guy he had cut my hair was originally very moody and was giving looks at me. Supposedly this dude was "one of the best" according to the owner. Absolutely not. The guy was nicer by the end of the session, but it's dumb that he has to "warm up" to his customer. A couple of the staff were nice, but overall I wasn't impressed with the customer service. The haircut wasn't cheap either, it was $30 bucks plus I gave a $10 dollar tip because I don't like carrying cash and was forced to use an ATM since this place doesn't take card payment. The shop is very small, there's an extra room in the back for an overflow of clients. I was sent to the back because that's where the dude who cut my hair was stationed. I'm including pics below of the botched haircut. I was really upset as I got a good look of all the issues by the time I was running errands. I don't even want to go back because I'll probably be met with more inconveniences and poor customer service. The guy who cut my hair does not know how to cut WAVY hair. I've gotten some bad haircuts before but nothing like this. I've never had the need to even review a barber till today. Taper was awful all the way around. One side okay the other side is just questionable on what it even is . The line up I just don't even know how to describe. One side pushed way back and round and the other side a little straighter but with what looks like he passed the clipper and tried to fix it and cover it up. One side is round to the point where you see it and it looks like he didn't even care and just rounded it out and said here you go. It's sad because I've gone with this specific barber a few times and it was always okay. This time was a complete let down. Luckily hair grows back but this to me was just a slap in the face. I wanted to get my son's haircut before the end of the school year and I kept meaning to make an appt and before I knew it, it was the day before yhe last day of school and I still hadn't made an appt. Luckily they open at 8am and I called and was able to get an appt for later that afternoon. Some things ended up getting cancelled and like a big ol pain I called at 1020 to see if we could be squeezed in and the guy, who answered was very nice and very accommodating. He told me if I could be there in 10 minutes we could be fit in. Perfect! We made it in time, park behind the shop. On the side there are a few spots, but plenty behind. We walked in and they were packed! A good sign at 1030 in the morning! I got a little worried that we would have to wait for a long time, but my son was in the chair right away. I guess the others waiting were walk ins. My son wanted his haircut like Thor's in the Ragnarok movie. The barber was very friendly and worked very fast! My son was super happy with the result even though he had no clue what my son was talking about and went solely off of pictures... he nailed it! Just a heads up... thos is a cash only spot so be prepared! But just in case you're not, they do have an ATM. We will be coming back. I'm SO disappointed in the haircut my son received here. He came in with relatively long hair I wanted a four on the sides a a trim on top, he ended up with an incredibly unblended two on the sides ( with short patches in between) and the most uneven cut on the top. Were getting pictures done in two days so I had to go to great clips to get it fixed (as much as it could be) but I'm SO incredibly sad that this is what we're left with. read more

The Kid's Barber Shop. I came in two months ago and got a really great haircut. My barber had all the right touches of a well-trained barber; he was an expert at his craft. Aside from that, I didn't enjoy the overall experience since there was a little kid sitting in the corner getting his haircut for the first time... crying and crying and crying. When you go to a "Gentlemens barber shop" you don't go there to listen to little kids cry! By the looks of the photos on this website, there are a lot of little kids that come here.
