Marco & the taller slender Mexican guy next to Marco are both super solid too. Awesome service from Jasmine! I walked in at 3:45 on a Tuesday. Despite it being busy as usual, she happened to be free and sat me down as soon as I was about to check in. It has been about 2 months since my last cut and my hair was out if control. Jasmine was very friendly and took her time. Hasn't been the same since the change in ownership. Gave them another chance today on a low fade, my barber had to get advice from 2 other barbers and still didn't seem confident. I went to ricks barbershop today and as soon as I stepped in I was greeted and it wasn't too busy. I walked in and was seated right away for a haircut. I got a pretty good fade and trim. However I heard Carol who is the owner Gives really good haircuts. So definitely I will be returning and I will hopefully have Carol cut my hair. They do have a sign in sheet with a list of barbers that work there. So you're able to pick who you want. My haircut did not take very long and it was well done. Total cost today was $22. Very good considering some of the more upscale barbershops charging anywhere between $25-$45. Ricks barbershop was well worth it! read more

They don't listen to what you say when you want a haircut. You say mid fade, and they shave you bald. You say leave the top long and they cut it short. Just don't go here unless you want to find another barber to fix the abstract catastrophe they'll turn your hair into. read more

If I could do zero stars I would ....Just had a super bad experience taking my son to get a hair cut. Watch out for the tall old man barber. My son took months to grow out his hair to achieve a certain style he was going for and this man just butchered his hair and gave him a military cut, just did petty much what he wanted. We liked the old staff when it was the old ricks something is definitely wrong here. $22 for a kids hack of a hair cut isn't fair. We are never going back. read more

Went in for a simple haircut. 0 all the way around on my head and my beard trimmed and lined up. Spent over an hour in the chair and come to find out the guy they sat me with had no experience. Which is fine we all start somewhere but I would have appreciated a heads up because I would have waited for someone who was more qualified. I have been here 3x now in the last 4 months and 2 out of 3 of my cuts have been AWFUL. This last time they couldn't even cut my side burns straight OR even on both sides. It looks like an amateur cut my hair. Asked for the sides blended and she took one side all the up to the part, not sure how that's blended at all. If you don't mind a barber who doesn't follow instructions and can't cut straight then this is your place. Only positive is the staff is friendly, but yet to find a barber there who can cut hair. read more

Be careful getting your hair cut here. There are several barbers that don't speak English very well and have screwed my hair up because they don't understand but act like they do. This has happened way too many times now. I won't be coming back here again. read more

Left this barbershop a few years ago after a bad haircut, thought I would never come back. That was until my favorite barber from Beaumont decided to come take over the shop. Her name is Carol and She's in the first chair and does a great job. With her new management I would definitely suggest this shop for a great cut. read more

Though Ricks has been around for a long time, the new owner is starting to bring it up to current times and really find its place in the revamp of upper Yucaipa. I drive over from Beaumont every two weeks to get myself and kids haircut, although there are some nice spots In Beaumont I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else, the barber/stylist are friendly, humorous and just overall great people. If you haven't tried Ricks in awhile I'd highly recommend stoping in especially men/boys looking to get a super clean modern cut! read more
