They always cleaned up their mess and hauled away garbage when the job was done. They would go out of their way to make sure they didn't track mud through my house but even still mopped up the floor with a towel when they were done. It's been since January 9th, 2018 that we contacted Donatello Doors regarding the progression of…read morethe bubbling, peeling & rusting of our double wrought iron doors which are still under warranty as of today, 11/27/18. The CEO, Robin Haynes, has bucked off the responsibility of finding a repair person to us and has capped the repairs to $1,200! The repair quotes we've received thus far are over $2500! Kirsten & Zaini are ignoring our calls and are not responding to our emails. We have contacted the Consumer Protection Agency in Wyoming, where Donatello is located and Florida, where we reside, as well as the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau. You can read our complaint on the BBB website under Donatello's profile. Donatello Doors has ignored the communications to resolve this issue. We purchased from Donatello Doors trusting their extensive written promises of backing up their product should there be an issue and their warranty specifically indicates they will repair to new standard or replace at no charge. The repairs have not happened, and their behavior does not lead to believe they will. We paid a lot of money for these doors and now what we have are two unsightly peeling & rusting 11-foot doors for all that visit our home to see! Buyer beware.... their claims of 100% commitment to excellence and their "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau, from a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction are not true. They claim these standards under their company values and throughout their website. They are not BBB accredited. We are not alone in this issue. There are other Donatello customers with similar issues. Do your research before considering purchasing from Donatello Doors.

After over two years of the company searching for a painter, I finally asked for a settlement agreement in April of 2019. The settlement agreement was for less than half of what I paid for the door. This agreement was emailed to Kirsten Jensen in May of 2019. Repeated attempts to reach Kirsten and Robin Haynes by email have failed. Repeated phone calls to the company have also failed. I just want to warn anyone thinking of buying a door from this company....they DO NOT honor the warranty that is posted on their website.

And that is what sold us on this company. We have had one of the 2 shattered windows replaced but it took around 6 months to get it done. And this one that is still broken and waiting to be replaced... we have been waiting nearly a year and can't get a call back or an update. To add to the troubles, the initial install ended up being awful. It looked great for a bit but all the windows have gaps and dirt and air pass through and they are a MESS!!! Mike from Nex-Gen came and walked through everything and agreed the installation was not good. And he promised to get the replacement in quickly for the broken window and would fix all these install issues and wrote everything down and apologize but, that was nearly 5 months ago and we have called and have gotten NO response. My husband calls the company and NOTHING is ever done. We don't even get a phone call back, they say they are checking on the order and will get back to us. Good thing we don't hold our breath. This so called lifetime warranty is a joke! It is only good IF the company actually calls back and actually follows through. And what is so maddening, the warranty and good customer service is what sold us. Talk about bait and switch.
