The clinical team and staff members are incredible and genuinely care about the well-being of the clients. I had 24/7 support and encouragement. The facilitators who lead group therapy genuinely care and are more than competent. The clinical team is highly qualified and goes above and beyond the standard of care. The house itself is incredible. There are private bedrooms and bathrooms for all clients. The amenities are fantastic and the food is delicious. I highly recommend 90210 Recovery. Call them and change your life! I learned coping skills, made life long friends and learned how to make changes that immeasurably improved my life.

Even the nicer people were practicing dime store psychology on you which didn't help. Key doctors and therapists were not showing up for work sometimes. The location is in a beautiful setting but the house is run down. I don't feel like I got the care I needed. It was $6500 a day and sometimes they would just put on a TED talk that had nothing to do about anything and leave the room. The sad thing is, rehab is suppose to help people. But when they do a bad job, they are dishonoring the fact that people took a big step to get there and hurting people.

This place saved my life. I can't say enough wonderful things about it. Safe Haven has all the…read moreright ingredients for success in recovery. The group facilitators are spectacular. I actually looked forward to going to group every day; in the past at other treatment facilities I dreaded "group", because I really was over it, having relapsed several times in the past several years and doing hundreds of groups. I sat there during my first day at Safe Haven (after the detox period) and thought, " I can't believe I'm having to do ' group' again." But it was different here. It was special. I can honestly say it was a pleasure and a privileged to attend group, I woke up every morning excited to see what I was gonna learn that day. That has never happened before. I woke up hopeful, excited about life in recovery, and grateful. The Chef makes delicious food that seems like it came from the finest restaurants; and I had to see for myself that he actually makes it! The doctors we see are very knowledgeable and excellent; They know what's best for you based on the results from blood tests and by the history and f what you tell them. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are heavenly. Real heaven. The house itself is huge with a very lush tropical backyard. The owners of this beautiful place are superb. I have never seen anything like it. I felt so accepted, so welcome, so safe. Miss Lucy is heaven sent. She has helped so many people get sober and reclaim their lives... including me! She gives one-on-one personal attention to clients. She is very straight forward and makes you feel like you're the most important person in the world. She and her daughter go waaaay beyond the extra mile to meet your personal individual needs; She's been doing this for a lot of years and has a seeming limitless supply of wisdom that she shares if you want it. I feel SO blessed and grateful I was directed to Safe Haven by a friend.... Oh also the therapist Gary is a miracle worker, straight up. He has helped me heal from some traumas that were blocking my emotional well being; he has seriously impacted my life in the most beautiful way. I have learned SO much here at Safe Haven, not just knowledge (which is so valuable and directly relevant to life) but how to live life on life terms, restoring my sanity, my true genuine self, which I now know (after my stay here) is a pretty remarkable woman. There are so many gifts here.... PLEASE come if you are hurting. They will embrace you and make it possible to begin to heal and thrive.

They have some very talented staff and kool processes- but ultimately they are seeking the highest revenue per bed-night and are prone to abrupt involuntary discharges for nonsensical reasons as soon as a higher revenue client becomes available. They over-medicate clients with even more mind altering drugs than they were on in the first place under the auspices of "detox" mainly to keep patients in a fog. The staff privately complain constantly to each other via text messages about clients and mostly staff are program alumni - they resent their jobs. In my case I was discharged early literally because the staff didn't like the inconvenience of changing my bedding and cleaning bathrooms (this is actually the reason given). I saw several other clients mysteriously vanish during my 2 weeks there. They should not be licensed to care for vulnerable patients. Don't be fooled by the tasty food and fun processes - you aren't safe with these folks.

Elen presents a hands on approach and is not only the most caring head of a recovery center I've ever met, she instills in her clients one of the most prominent values that most addicts and alcoholics lose while actively using drugs and alcohol; and that is self-respect, dignity, integrity and self-love. The technicians that help guide the process of the everyday routine are educated, caring, loving and all of them look out for the clients needs above and beyond their call of duty. The therapists and group counselors are seasoned professionals that educate the clients on the disease of alcoholism and addiction, and present a design for living that can help save lives and mend families. They help each and every client to look forward to a bright and healthy future. At Faith I have noticed that I was not just another number, not just another client, but a part of a family that looks out for each other and regards the safety of each member of Faith with the most caring of motives. It's rare to discover a facility that is so clean and well kept and serves the most high quality foods to get you back on a healthy track of living. There are many experiences an addict goes through to arrive at an inpatient facility where they are taken out of society to mend their minds, spirit and broken wings. At Faith they instill hope and faith in a better tomorrow, and I understand now how blessed I am to have found such a caring and nurturing environment to help me get back on my feet, get back into the work force and have me rejoin my family with an urgency to be the man I was always meant to be. They have not only helped me gain back my daughter and family, they have showed me a new way to live and have given me back hope and faith in a new routine to recover from this devastating disease which discriminates against no one and has killed so many. I'm truly grateful to have met Elen, Lucy who has gone above and beyond foe me and the staff at Faith. I am thrilled to have become a part of the Faith family. Thank you Faith and THANK YOU ELEN!! It took a friend convincing me to get help and give Ritz a shot, and honestly, it was the best decision I ever made. The staff really knows what they're doing when it comes to this disease, and they helped me finally get off fentanyl for good. Ritz is clean, cozy, and has this chill vibe that makes it easy to settle in and focus on getting better. What I loved most was how the team treated me , they actually listened, kept it real, and showed real compassion because many of them had been through the same struggles. They didn't just throw a one size fits all plan at me, they made a plan that fit meIt felt like a safe space where I could be open and vulnerable without any judgment. I met people there I never thought I'd even hang out with, but some of them turned out to be the best folks I've met. We even went on weekend outings that showed me how to have fun without drugs. The overall company was trying to get the most money out of my insurance as possible. I started off in the sober living facility and during Christmas time, I had covid over winter and had to take NyQuil and that was the first excuse for forcing me back into a rehab program that was not needed. My reason for being in the program in the first place was that I had 18 back to back surgeries over the past 4 years and was on opioids for a long period of time so this was a way to detox in a safe environment. There was no psychological addiction, just physical dependence to opioids. They lied about multiple addictions to medication(amphetamine addiction) that I was prescribed since childhood and used it to get more money through insurance. They also lied about an alcohol addiction, when I am medically intolerant to alcohol. When I got back to the sober living after this time I was talked about poorly among staff members and called "attention seeking" for asking for a few days off in order to visit 2 dying family members. Eventually someone in the group had consumed alcohol and told the staff which upset another client due to the unfairness and favoritism. This upset client gave me alcohol without my knowledge or consent and afterwards told the staff that I was drunk. This other client had been upset and doing things like this for 2 weeks prior to this incident. I believe he did this in order to prove a point that they will send people they dislike or with good insurance back to rehab in order to get more money. This client later confessed to me he had put alcohol in my drink without my consent and I had a reaction to the alcohol and was placed back into the rehab facility. I was put on addictive barbiturates and unnecessary medications for 2 days before my insurance denied coverage due to fraudulent services. The alcohol level was so low that there was no logical reason I needed to be there. I was then abandoned as a patient had had to find a new place to live in 2 hours or I was out on the street. Remember it's just a business. They don't actually care about you. They left another 2 of my friends on their own where one eventually fell into a coma following her abandonment. Something else they did was contact my pharmacy and told them never to fill any of my prescriptions ever from any doctor. I was no longer under their care at all. I'm a disabled person and this made it very difficult to obtain medication that I needed. This is a HIPPA violation for sure.

I've been on a long journey with my mental health, and it hasn't been an easy one. From the…read moreconstant dissappointment that's been my companion, to the depression that one day changed me into a different person without warning, it's been rough. And I understand that it hasn't just been rough for me. It's also been rough for the people around me. I consider myself to be brave. Getting out of bed each morning may not seem brave to most, but anyone who has battled through the self eclipsed war of depression knows otherwise. When the voices and forces within you want nothing more than to bring you down, you need to rise above. And that, is the bravest thing anyone could ever do. Depression can you turn you into someone you aren't. It will make your face unrecognizable in the mirror, your voice unrecognizable to your ears. When you're hurting, you do and say things you don't mean. You turn into an angry, ugly person. Someone you truly are not. To those who could not handle it, I'm sorry. I truly am sorry.  When you get into a really bad state, sleeping is rare. You lay awake through the night, thinking, weeping and panicking. Essentially, wishing you were dead. Waking up in the morning and carrying on like a "normal human" is not the easiest thing in the world to do, when just 12 hours ago you were praying to fall asleep and not wake up. Some would say I was unmotivated, boring or mean. They weren't wrong, but if only they knew. When you're depressed, it is difficult to reach out. You fear what others will think, and how they will treat you. "Get over it", "You're so dramatic", these are phrases I've heard more than enough. The thoughts that go on in our minds are scary, terrifying in fact. It takes courage to face them yourself, let alone take the first step in changing and reprogramming your thought process. I have seen the light. A light I once thought I would never find. My mental illness is not my reality. I would never choose this life for myself, or anyone, but i have finally overcome my demons. The Holistic Sanctuary gave me the power to take control of my life and stopped my battles with addiction and guided me in overcoming my mental health issues. From the various IV therapies, to energy healing, massages, to a well balanced diet and nutrition, after 17 years of nicotine addiction and my struggles with mental health have become a thing of the past. I have never felt more powerful than I do in this very moment. I am filled with so much self love that I could never ingest or cause any type of harm that is my body, my temple. I've realized that I haven't been the person I truly am, or the person I am meant to be. I've done, and said, some terrible things. I've made mistakes, and I've been an ugly person. If it wasnt for Johnny and his angels I wouldnt have continued on this path and for that I want to say thank you for your kindness. You will never know how often the smallest gestures made the biggest difference. On days when all I could do was cry, or all I wanted was to become invisible, your kindness mattered. Your listening ear, your gentle hug, your affirmation that I matter in this world all changed my outlook, or at least my day. It is in these smallest, quiet moments that my world slowly began to change for the better. Thank you for being there. There have been times when simply your presence in the room made me feel safe. Sometimes, just knowing in that moment I was not alone saved my life. How do I even begin to thank you for something so monumental? The words "thank you" seem so inadequate, and yet they are all I have to offer. I know I can never repay you, but please know I am eternally grateful. Without Johnny I would no longer be here. Thank you for making the effort to making my journey as easy as possible each and every day. Thank you for realizing that while I rarely ask, I often need help and support. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do in guiding all those that are lost in the world. In my experience, few are as faithful as those who stand by your side through depression or other mental illness. You are all remarkable human beings and thank you for saving my life. This is the greatest gift you can give to yourself or to anyone that is suffering from any addiction or severe mental health issues. TRUST AND LET GO
