One of the only trendy spots in Jonesboro to truly unwind and just hang out w/friends & family outside of your own home probably. This place is known for the social aspect and they have knocked it out of the park w/private events, brunch, lunch, & the always popular Happy Hour. This place has such a great vibe from the colors to the decor to the black and whites of local scenes. The drink menu gets you kicked off w/something for everyone, even virgin cocktails for the kids. Then the boards, bowls, and flatbreads are the perfect snacks for any group, but also some great stuff to make a meal. Want to know what to order for a group of 6 to all enjoy? No worries they even designed part of their menu to make that easy for you to decide. It was very nice to get to meet the owners and hear their story of growing up here and having such a strong desire to have their small business be an asset to the community and meet a need. Unwind has now been open for 2 years in the heart of Jonesboro & looks forward to continuing to serve NE Arkansas and certain growth. It's not just a place to fill your belly but an experience that you will want to share w/a group of folks to just catch up and "unwind" from the crazy world we live in. Stop by this wkend & make sure to tip well! This staff is absolutely amazing and deserves the love!

We stayed for an entire weekend, and received a family like vibe from the moment we walked thru the door. The house keepers were all so friendly and helpful. Always smiling. The pantry was stocked with all your must have traveling items. The gazebo out back was equipped with two large gas grills for hotel guests to use. Every single room has a kitchen area that includes a range cooktop, large microwave, sink, all dishes/cookware provided, and a dishwasher. There was an abundance of towels. The beds were AMAZING. I could just go on and on. If you're staying in Jonesboro, AR and your not staying at Candlewood Suites by IHG... you're missing out!!!

I took a bunch of pictures, and a long video of my one bedroom suite. Why you ask. Because, I am into tiny home living, and this setup was perfect for me. Just a few changes here and there, and this could be my forever home. You get free access to washers and dryers. But, you must supply your own laundry products. They do sell them there, but there is a Dollar Tree near by. Tons of restaurants and a Kroger and Aldi near by too. There is a kitchen with all the utensils, a dishwasher, sink, dinnerware, and a dual freezer and refrigerator. I enjoyed cooking my own meals on the two top electric burners. No oven, but you can get a toaster oven from the front desk if needed. There are blenders, a DVD library, and many other items to use. The gym was nice. I used it twice. I should have used it more. Everyone was so nice. When checking out of my two week stay, the staff told me that I was one of the nicest and friendliest clients they have ever had. Ah, shucks. I told them in a few months I will be heading back to Shreveport to see my friend again, and I will be spending three days at this location, because of the staff. If I needed anything, I picked up the phone, and in less than 10 minutes.....BAM!!!! It was taken care of. I did have a problem connecting my iPad to the internet, and one of the lovely ladies from the front desk came to my room, and helped me troubleshoot to get my iPad connected. Oh, and if you are a bookworm, there is a huge Barnes and Noble near by. Oh, and even the other people staying on my floor were very friendly also. This place is excellent, fantastic, awesome, and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious due to the staff!!!!
