Great business concept of using paper bags and reusable containers to eliminate plastic waste. They have a wide variety of items from dry foods like pasta, to wet food items such as vinegar and aminos, to household items like soaps and cleaners.

This place is awesome! I just made it in for the first time this past weekend and am going to be making this a regular place to shop for loose leaf teas, dry goods and local soaps, etc. I truly appreciate what Glass Pantry is setting out to do in Milwaukee. The idea of eliminating waste and plastic isn't a novelty, however, they upped it and also carry many locally derived products. I'm a big supporter of local and small businesses, and I was really happy to see so many mentions of WI based products throughout the store.

It was my first visit to The Glass Pantry and I had a delightful visit. The staff clearly explained how the concept worked and all the different reusable vessels I could fill. They have a wide variety of food stuffs and health items. Some items were similar to the prices at the grocery store, others were a little higher. Overall I really enjoyed my visit. The trail mix was delish.

I've been following this shop for a while now but never had the time or courage to stop in - I was finally able to make it for a Yelp event and I only regret that it took me so long! The concept is amazing - everything is super sustainable and there are so many interesting products! I was always nervous to come because I thought I needed to bring my own containers, but they have plenty of extra glass containers (some you can use for free!) or brown bags if you prefer. They have basically anything you could use at home in a pantry, from bulk lotions, soaps, and hair products to coffee and grains to spices and detergents! It's a small store so everything is pretty much within one field of view which is nice. Their employee was very approachable and helpful when I was trying to figure out how to get the bulk items from their containers into my own. They have a bunch of reusable "clean" scoops and funnels that are cleaned after each use so they are definitely not the gross scoops from your grocery store. I'm already looking forward to my next trip back to stock up on pantry staples!

I LOVE visiting The Glass Pantry! I consistently bring in my soap dispensers and spices to be re-filled by them. They have tons of different goods in the store - soaps, pantry items, cleaning supplies, gift items, and more! They also have jars/containers you can buy, take or reuse to fill with your purchases. The Glass Pantry makes it feel much less overwhelming to make an impact on the environment. Plus it feels so good to be able to be less wasteful AND support an amazing local business!

This place is WONDERFUL. So many reusable and sustainable things! Not only do they have the awesome household needs (shampoo, conditioner, cleaner, wash clothes) but they also have organic nuts, chocolate chips, trail mix - literally so many things! They also have free glass jars you can use to fill everything up. The place is super cute and quaint as well, staff was very nice & I cannot wait to go back and get one of everything!

The idea is to fill up reusable containers with essentials from bulk containers and to bring them back when you're done, for more.

This place can be described as a very expensive upscale flea market. It also reminds me of Anthropologie's home products. If anything, it may be a little bit more pricey than Anthropologie though. Since it is an independent shop, things here are so special and there is something special about purchasing things that you have to go in-store for and cannot be purchased or viewed online. I loved the selection of textiles, the dishes, the apothecary items, and the unique trinkets. While I know that I could certainly not afford to outfit my house with things in here, there were plenty of things that would make thoughtful and unique gifts for friends, or occasional splurges for yourself (there were a few blankets that I LOVED). The style is just my cup of tea- a mixture of vintage and modern. Stop in, and I'm sure you will find at least a few things that you love!

Whether it's an accent piece for the bedroom or bathroom, new linen napkins for the dining table or furniture - there's so much to see. The quality is incredible and the prices are fair. The best thing I found (at least on this visit) are the Albert & Dash rugs! They are wonderfully made in beautiful colors. I cannot get enough of them. I want to fo back for more. This store is a great place to shop for fine things.

When you arrive, you are greeted by a cocktail menu with many great options that make it hard to choose. They also had a build your own old fashioned menu which we obviously had to try and ended up being a highlight. For the candle making itself, you start by going to a wall full of different scents. The staff tell you the proper way to smell it and what you should be looking for in a candle. I honestly learned so much. Once we picked our scents, our server then walked us through the candle making process. She was very attentive and explained everything, making it really easy to follow. After the candles were made, we had to wait about 30 minutes to let them settle, which gave us time to chat and try another cocktail. In total it took about 2 hours. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to cost. It was pretty pricey to make a single candle, which you are paying for the experience as well. However, something to keep in mind when planning your next date night. Overall, we had a fun time making the candles (and cocktails) and I will be recommending Glassnote to my friends for a unique night out.

The German Shepherd says he needs some money for home renovations, so the surprised new bank officer asks if he has any collateral. The canine offers up this antique artsy-fartsy thing saying it's worth a lot of money, he got it at On and On Milwaukee for much less than it's actually worth because the prices at this antique store are so reasonable. The lending officer is at a loss, this just wasn't covered in her extensive training so she excuses herself to see the bank manager for advice. She tells him "there's a German Shepherd who can talk who wants money for some renovation work, but all he has to secure it is this vintage thing I don't even know what it is, what should I do?" So the manager tells her, "It's a knick knack Patty Black, give the dog a loan." I'm sorry I don't actually know if they allow dogs in here, talking or not. They do sell all sorts of unusual art and antiques at very reasonable prices and it's right next to a wonderful wine bar and an excellent coffee shop.
