They have some really neat chairs like the IMG Luna, and some really well made recliners. Many of the chairs remind me of the mid-century modern classics. The action and build quality of the chairs is really what amazed me. Their zero-gravity chair is effortless to recline and, well, unrecline. The wood and veneers used are also very nice. The beechwood based recliners are meant to be very flexible, yet resilient, and there are some tables that have some great veneer patterns. It's always very cozy when you walk in, and all of the staff is extremely nice. There are some expanding tables that have some interesting action. They'll be more than happy to demo them for you.

I'm so grateful to have found Bachman! I ended up buying a floor model and received it within just a few days of purchase. Communication around delivery was perfect. Everyone at Bachman was very helpful and friendly. Ashley was wonderful, and a big help during each of my (three) visits. She also set me up with packaging to return the couch I'd bought online. And she has since sent me options for additional pet-friendly seating for a specific nook I'm looking to furnish. While their online inventory may not be as easy to navigate, I highly recommend visiting Bachman's showroom the next time you're in the market for quality furniture and excellent service. Parking is $2 an hour and you may have to circle a few times to find one. I hit lucky and found one right down the street. Staff didn't seem to greet anyone upon entering. Stuff was very organized. They have several dressing rooms.

If you visit the store, know that it's mostly mid-century furniture with some same era collectables thrown in. It's not a huge place but it's very, very well curated. This is some of the nicest looking vintage furniture I've seen in town - lots of sideboards, dressers, end tables and some truly glorious sofas. Prices are commensurate with the quality - a big 2 piece sectional sofa with immaculate original upholstery was in the $600 range. That said, they're willing to negotiate so if you see something you love, have the conversation. The Mister grabbed a fun Maifest stein and a vintage German decor mag from 1964 for $10, so we left happy. They are adding things all the time so if you're trying to up the hipster cachet on your sweet Bay View bungalow definitely check them out.

He knew exactly where the chair we were looking for was in the store, was able to explain very clearly how and what could be adjusted, and even shared how the features compared to other similar chairs. Once we were set up, he let us be to test it out until we were ready to ask more questions about pricing and shipment options. I was appreciative that he gave us space and time to see if we liked it. While their shipping is expensive, they do have a 25% off deal right now.
