I contacted multiple greater St. Louis area luxury limo and winery tour transportation services before deciding to go with Platinum Limo STL, aka Platinum Limousine. This was my first time booking a luxury party bus and I did a fair amount of research. I needed a spacious bus to accommodate my party, who varied in age and needs. I didn't want to be taken advantage of and needed extra reassurance...which the owners Bill and Tina Lamb provided for me. Platinum Limousine has been in business since 2015, however you should know that Bill has been in the business as a driver for over a decade. At this juncture, they have one 30-passenger luxury limo bus which they maintain very well. They arranged for me a viewing of the the bus prior to the day of the event so I knew exactly what I was booking. They provided me with the DOT number so I could research the bus more. On the day of our event, the bus arrived on time, was beautifully maintained/clean, stocked with cooled soda and water, drinking glasses, equipped with a clean bathroom at the front of the bus, auxillary jack for playing music using my phone. Cool lighting on the bus that would be great for night-time, however we had a daytime trip so we opened the window curtains. There is also a screen for playing DVDs if you like, although if you are planning to use it to play a slideshow of pictures, you'll want to trial it prior to your event so that you have the proper application. We had fairly short trips between our destinations so this was not a big deal for us. The seating style is a nice limo style seating with comfortable side benches rather than rowed seats that face forward. Platinum Limo allows you to bring your own coolers, food, and drinks including open wine bottles on the bus...they reasonably request that you don't bring extra messy/hard to clean foods like potato chips. Saturdays are when these services are in highest demand and Platinum Limo provided hands down the best deal I could find! Most companies quoted a much higher rate than Platinum Limo. There was only one other company with a similar bus that quoted the same 6-hour rate as Platinum Limo, however the other company did not provide on-board amenities like Platinum Limo does. There was no extra cost for my custom itinerary with multiple pick-ups in Augusta, transportation between 3 different wineries, and drop offs back in Augusta. My 6 hours started at the time of pick-up and ended at the time of drop-off...which was awesome that they didn't deduct time for bus travel en route to pick-up. There were no hidden fees or extra costs for fuel or otherwise. Our driver was gracious, professional, courteous, punctual, and safe on the very winding roads! Our party had such a great day at the wineries without any transportation worries. Bill and Tina are utmost professionals who exceeded my expectations. I recommend Platinum Limo STL and will definitely choose them the next time I am need of group transportation in the area.

When I recently called to apply the credit for the undelivered service, the person I spoke with was rude and refused to look into it, stating only that too much time had passed. Because the company declined to address the issue, I was left with no option but to submit the matter to my bank. Based on this experience, I would not recommend using this company, particularly if there is any chance plans change or services are not immediately used. Update: The company later stated that written terms were sent after payment and that the deposit was non-refundable, despite the contract being emailed hours after the charge and never being signed. This was not disclosed at the time of payment.

It was terrible, you could see through the back window when using the restroom, no TV, we were told we got an upgrade which we didn't we got a downgrade! Then we found out the bus I paid for was broken or given to someone else, then I paid for the extra time we had it, they thought it was a tip on top of the tip given. It was the worst service we have ever had, when the owners were in Imperial and we rented we had great service, driver and that's why we rented again in less than a year. I will never recommend Platinum Transportation or Fun Tyme again. Also the owner Brad offered me a $50 refund which is a complete smack in the face! We booked a round trip and were able to get picked up/ dropped off at a nearby location from the airport (not listed on their drop down menu) which was honestly very helpful and saved us the stress in finding another form of transportation. We also had a very last minute request for a later pickup and Bryan was able to accommodate our request, very thankful for that. The shuttle was clean and comfortable and our drivers both trips were very kind, punctual, professional, and knowledgeable with the areas we traveled to/from. We were late, so I didn't say anything and we rushed on. We almost got in numerous accidents, he didn't listen to our directions, got lost in downtown St. Charles where the streets were too narrow to go down with a bus, and made us even later for pictures. We lost about an HOUR of planned pictures before the ceremony due to him. After the ceremony, we all loaded back on the bus to go to the reception site for pictures. He was passed out on the bus. One of my bridesmaids went to wake him up, called for him, and had to shake him vigorously to wake him up. He pulled out from the ceremony, pulled into a QuikTrip and ran inside. Didn't say a word to us. I was absolutely furious. We were already late, had missed time to take pictures before the ceremony, and now we lost MORE time. He took 15 minutes in QuikTrip, came out with snacks, and drove to the ceremony site. He drove 25MPH on highway 94, drove in the center of the road, and we were once again late due to him. The drive out to the winery was in near silence because my entire wedding party was terrified that we weren't going to make it there. My photographer was furious, we lost two hours of photography due to him. This is time we will never get back, pictures we wont have from our wedding due to an incompetent driver. We have reached out to the company and were told "he had a late job the night before so he was tired". I work nightshift, I ALWAYS have a late job, but I don't let that impact others. Stay away from this company, they nearly ruined my wedding day and I will never be able to get this time or the missed pictures back. We were so looking forward to time with our wedding party in the bus, having a good time, driving around and taking pictures, but all of that was lost due to this company and that awful driver.
