Our 4-year old daughter returned to The Goddard School of Ashland at the end of the summer after spending 3 years at another local daycare center, which was geographically more convenient. We brought her back to Goddard because we felt it had a better developmental program and we couldn't have been more correct. The decision to return to the Goddard family was one of the best parental decisions we've made. In 3 short months she has blossomed. She loves going to "preschool" (as she no longer allows us to call it daycare). Everyday she asks whether she will get to go to Goddard, even on the weekends! Now she talks about how she is getting ready for kindergarten. During dinner she saw a picture of the Earth on television. She mentioned between bites as if it were nothing, "Oh yeah. We learned about planet Earth in school yesterday." We are so very proud of her advancement and thankful to the Goddard family for embracing her. It is as if she never left. We couldn't be happier. We know that when the time comes, she will be more than prepared for kindergarten because of the staff at Goddard. read more

Leaving your child with a trusted care provider is a big deal. We searched for a long time before finally deciding on the perfect place to send our 1 year old. We could not be happier with our decision! The integration of technology is fantastic. The entire environment is organized, well run and inviting. The teachers are interactive and engage with every child. We are personally met at the front door by a Goddard leader at EVERY pick up and drop off. We appreciate that they are investing in their own future with the recent addition of space and resources. My little one is learning in creative ways while he plays and interacts with the environment around him. Want to know the best part of it all? When I pick up my child, he is happy and smiling! Our daughter started at Goddard Ashland when she was 7 months (infant room) and we couldn't be happier. In our house we refuse to call Goddard a day care because it's so much more. It's a school and it's a family. Our daughter is thriving and we can't thank the teachers enough for all they do with her in the classroom. She is learning and having so much fun! As newer parents leaving your child can be hard but we feel 100% comfortable at Goddard Ashland and don't worry about her one bit. The only thing we would change is that we would have started her at Goddard when she was 3 months! I currently have 2 children (soon to be 3) enrolled in this school and I would not consider anywhere else. From the folks in the administrative office to the individual teachers in the classrooms, they all show a genuine interest in your needs as a parent and the needs of the children as individuals. This is not just a daycare, this is a school with a curriculum designed to help the children develop and learn. The Ashland Goddard is also a community. My children have developed lasting friendships with their classmates and I have with their parents. In today's hectic and sometimes scary world, I am thankful for this community where my children love to go and I can go to work without worrying about their well-being. read more

The owners are dedicated to creating the best environment possible for children to learn and succeed, both mentally and physically. They have made substantial investments in the classroom (iPads, promethean boards, etc.), as well as a new indoor gymnasium that keeps our kids active and engaged. Even with the fantastic facilities our highest regards still go to the teachers. Our boys love going to "school" everyday, mainly because their teachers care for them and enjoy seeing them progress. My son has been attending since March 2012 and I can't say enough good things about this school. I like that this school is not just a babysitting service. I was so impressed yesterday when my 4-year old came home yesterday talking about the earth's layers and how the core is made up of "hot lava." His favorite part of the day is still playing outside on their nice playground, but I like that he's also learning and having fun while doing it. I hope they keep up the great work! read more

We love the Goddard School! We could not have found a better place for our baby girl when I went back to work. The teachers are amazing and the programming is second to none. Our little girl smiles when we pull up to school and lights up when she sees the teachers. They really encourage her to meet all of her developmental goals through their lesson plans and activities, and we love the activity reports we get at the end of every day. I wouldn't send my daughter anywhere else! read more
