The teachers are very nice and attentive, they enjoy their job and are great educators. I think that one of the most important aspects to me is they make learning fun for my child and as a result he learns more. There are days I say he can stay home and he says no he wants to go to school. I call that a win. Safety and good communication is also a priority and I definitely appreciate that! Being a first time mom with a newborn, i carefully researched every childcare place in the area. The infant room has everything you can imagine to know your little one is safe. Owlet monitors for nap time was a huge plus! Not to mention the cameras you can view on their phone (because who doesnt want to watch their little on a screen all day lol). We registered my daughter 8 months in advance of her enrollment date and I spoke with the staff several times throughout that period to discuss paperwork, confirming each time that we were still on for our scheduled enrollment date. Then out of no where they call us to say that they overbooked and we were being dropped. They couldn't guarantee us any enrollment date but just offered to let us wait another 12 months. I feel like this is an absolutely unacceptable business practice. We were essentially wait listed but led to believe we had a guaranteed spot. So we had no Plan B and were forced to look for another daycare last minute and had to accept the first one that had availability with such short notice.

Literally on her 3 day of being there I seen her bracelet was gone after I picked her up. I asked to look at the cameras again and they said no which we have access on our phone to look at the live Camaras. I talked to the owner and he let me see it and it showed my baby went in the diaper room and when she came out she didn't had her bracelet anymore. The teacher there kept playing it off that my baby was playing by a near by trash cans when I just seen my baby the door. Then they try blaming it on the janitor that they threw it away by accident. They try to give me next week half off but yet they didn't care about her. On her 2 week of going there to the day care I understand my kid didn't wanted to share chairs but this kid has no reason to bite my baby. I picked my baby up and had a bite mark and they never called to make an incident report. They stated that my baby didn't cry which I believe it was a LIE as well because my baby had that bite mark for 4 days in a row there no way my kid was just standing there looking stupid with out saying anything and letting a kid bite her that hard. After I talked to the owner he said something to them but yet the next day THEY were trying sit her away from ALL THE LITTLE KIDS and I kept looking at the live Camara and called it in they said supposedly she was hitting kids which she doesn't do that, she pats them that's her way of letting kids know she's talking to them because she doesn't know their name or can't even say it. They lady said "so you want me to call every 15 min" I had told her my schedule was flexible and if there was ANY ISSUES TO CALL ME and they never did I kept looking at the camaras and my baby was just standing up and sitting repeating but not hitting any kids. Not just that but I can keep going on about her dippers/wipes and her food as well. After I called in to drop her out of her class because she's never coming back they kept trying to charge me 265 every week which kept adding up to estimating 1,180 which I didn't pay because she didn't kept going, I should of really filed a police report for all of this but I was being too nice and gave too many chances..... like I mention DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE

Our oldest started "school" at 18 months and our initial goals were low-tech, hands-on Montessori methodology. Things have changed! We transferred to The Goddard School after daily phone calls for behavior "issues" from our previous school. The STEAM concept is wonderful and their technology, security, and communication is top-notch. We receive daily reports and photos -- helping us feel up-to-date and involved. Montessori is not for every child. They must be a self-learner and eager to accept a new way of doing things. Our son needs structure and the teachers hold them accountable for their actions. This makes all the difference in the world. We also noticed that the calmness of the classroom helps him stay focused. He has matured and learned so many different things within the short time that he has been in attendance and we couldn't be happier. Our only regret is not doing this sooner. They fostered a love of learning in him and helped him to build strong vocabulary skills very early on. Because we did not move to Clear Lake until my oldest was 18 months, he attended two other schools (including Creme de la Creme) and had a nanny prior to MSODT. If I had to do it again, he would have started at MSODT right away. Creme did not offer educational focus in the way that MSODT did. You can tell that all of the staff in the School of Infants really care in a way I didn't find with other programs. While my oldest had a slower start, MSODT Clear Lake gave him the foundation he needed and now he loves math and reading and is in the GT program. Almost every child I know who attends this school ends up skipping a grade in public school or is at the very top of their class and GT. I couldn't recommend this school more. They are fantastic in their focus to build a love of learning.
