The entire staff has been nothing but welcoming, friendly, and supportive of him and our family. We had a not so pleasant experience with a daycare center in Smyrna where I would pick him up and it would be obvious he was not well cared for, diaper unchanged, dried snot on his face, etc., he would cry everyday I dropped him off. Little Harvard is a complete 180 from that standard of care, and I am so thankful, he walks right in and looks forward to attending each day. The people are so welcoming and friendly so that you feel right at home when you first visit. All ages, walks of life and all people are welcome. Woodmont's focus is first on the Lord. Through sermons, bible studies, Sunday school small groups, individual prayer and ministry opportunities Woodmont provides ways to deepen your relationship with Christ. They also have a fantastic college group as well as youth group. Ministry is a second focus of Woodmont. Individual groups within the church go around the world to minister in places like Greece, the Dominican Republic, Africa and various countries in South America as well as right here in Nashville, Tennessee. There are literally hundreds of ways to plug in. I love the size of the congregation: not too big, but not too little either. Sunday morning service starts at 10:30 a.m. and if you are unable to leave home you can view the service on T.V. If you are looking for a Church home I'd recommend putting Woodmont on the list.

There are lots of choices out there with varying degrees of curriculum, weekly fees and tenured employees. My biggest concern was just finding a place that felt friendly and where I knew my son wouldn't be just another kid. A co-worker highly recommended her daycare to me where she has her daughters just two days a week. We went together to meet the director and I was given a tour of the entire facility. First of all, the director is great and she has a very down-to-earth personality and totally understands the worry and stress of putting your child in someone else's care for the majority of the week. The facility is beautiful and cozy. It's a smaller daycare, about 95 capacity I believe, and it was built to resemble a house rather than a typical daycare building. The daycare is family owned and operated as opposed to a corporate chain. They do offer part-time care (which you don't find everywhere) and the cost for an infant was about $100 cheaper per month than the other daycare we were considering. I love the proximity to my office and I enjoy being able to stop in and see my son at lunch. I feel that all of the teachers are genuine and truly care about me and my questions and concerns and my son's well-being. They are honest and love filling me in on the minute details of my son's day there. They have a true 4:1 infant ratio and I have witnessed them being very mindful of that. It really pains me to put my child in daycare and not be at home with him, but if this is the option I have for right now, I couldn't imagine having my son anywhere else but here!

They accepted our 1 year old baby who has been in daycare since he was 4 months and attends church nursery regularly - all without one mention of any type of problem. Ever. He started at this school Monday. Within *one hour* of dropping him off we got a call saying we needed to come right away and pick up our baby because he bit someone. When we got there they had all of his things packed and said he was kicked out. We asked to see the video camera footage because we were so shocked he would bite anyone when he has never done that before. They refused to show us any footage. They said it was against privacy rules - which is a lie, and in previous reviews you can read how they did show footage to other families. Only showing us a cell phone photo of the "bite". The photo was of a child wearing shorts - when none of the other children in his class had on shorts that day because it was cold that morning. I'm not saying it's impossible he bit someone, all babies do at some point. It's normal. But what is unbelievable is that he would bite someone and they would kick him out within 1 hour, the very first day. It seems like they just didn't want him there for some reason. I'm glad this happened because my mom intuition was going off, and this was not a good place for my child. Our baby has never cried when dropped off at school, babysitters, church, anywhere. At this school he cried and he was still crying when we got there an hour later once he was kicked out. We are concerned that he was inappropriately punished and we don't know that he wasn't mistreated after this "incident" since they won't show us the footage of what actually happened Also, this facility falsifies documents. They never had us sign our child in/out that day. Then We got a notification on their app that someone changed his wet diaper at 10:15am, with teacher initials next to it - he left the school before 10am. Furthermore, they forged my husbands signatures on enrollment paperwork with an electronic time stamp on 3/22 when my child was expelled from the school on 3/21, so we were not even there or enrolled on that date. Save yourself and your child the emotional distress and please STAY AWAY from this place.

We chose this location despite two other La petite's and many other daycares being much closer because of the admin staff and teachers. We absolutely adore Ms. Kristine & Ms. Stephanie! My daughter is 3 now and still gets excited when she knows she's on her way to school. The live video feed and school app allows me to have visual access to what my girl is up to each day . I loooove that I can communicate with her teachers or office staff through the app!
