Now my daughter is in the toddler classroom and she is obsessed with Ms. Lidia and Ms. Danielle. She calls for them by name on the weekends. I feel so safe and comfortable knowing that these 2 women are taking care of my daughter. In addition to all the love and care she get, I am so beyond impressed with the menu my daughter I served everyday. She eats such a diverse menu of foods that I couldn't possible recreate in my house!

Throughout then, till now, we have been beyond satisfied with their organization, safety protocols (protests, covid, etc.), food selections/variety/nutrition (organic, etc.), communication (frequency, methods and accuracy) and most importantly the teachers. The people and systems that really hold everything together to give the opportunity to forster fun and learning. From Lowest Aged Classrooms - Ms. Victoria and Ms. Molly - both so kind, gentle and understanding, which at a younger age, really what kids need. They take note of important things like food intake, health, sign language, and even smaller (but life hack tips) items such as good sippy cups to use, etc. Ms. Monica and Ms. Destiny - they had our (first) son at a very challenging age and really were his first teachers at Goddard. They worked with him to achieve so many milestones. He loves them both dearly! They were upbeat, so dedicated and really got him out of his shell (and may I add out of many bad moods)! We can never thank them enough! Ms. Philena and Ms. Tiana - Both great teachers! Ms. Tiana is so sweet and caring. She keeps kids calm and speaks to them in such a way that they really open up to her. Mrs. Philena is also great, she speaks to the kids like little adults, and helps them to achieve milestones, such as staying dry after a nap, etc. She communicates (as she was the late night teacher) to the parents at pick up about the happenings of the day! Ms. O and Ms. Nina - Ms. O is a model teacher - as she must be for the age she teaches is when they start to get a little "smart"! She is firm and challenges them (holds them accountable) as well as relates to them on a friend level. Ms. Nina is so warm! She knows the unseen things such as if they may have to use the bathroom, or if they are in any type of "mood." She gets to know each kid and treats them as if they were her own. The administration really runs a tight ship - there is never a slip-up. Kellyanne, Yolanda, Sylvia and Emily they are all highly efficient whether it be getting the daily reports, communicating sicknesses/incidents, holidays, or crazy things that parents ask for like pictures of how big the chunks of food their kid are eating (guilty), or swiftly getting ....snacks or throw up off the floor (the sheer number of things that they handle I am sure I only know a small fraction). They basically are the neck to the (very heavy!) head. We could not be happier about the quality of teachers at the Goddard School to entrust them with the foundational years of our children.

I am very relieved that my daughter is no longer attending. The highlight of our experience was a few of the lead teachers and teacher assistants who genuinely cared about the children. I truly appreciate their dedication. I also want to recognize Sajida, who was always welcoming and kind. Unfortunately, that level of care did not feel consistent throughout the school. In my experience, the center director Ms Set was difficult to communicate with. There were times when I felt my concerns were not taken seriously, which left me feeling unheard. My daughter also shared that she sometimes felt certain staff members were overly harsh with her. I was also concerned by incidents involving children pushing or shoving one another, and I did not always feel those situations were addressed as thoroughly as I expected. The classrooms themselves were cared for by the teachers, who I often saw wiping tables and mopping floors. However, the overall building did not appear to be maintained to the same standard. During my visits, I noticed dust buildup around the air vents and felt the facility could benefit from more thorough routine cleaning and maintenance. Given how easily illnesses spread among young children, this was disappointing. Another concern was the frequent staff turnover. It seemed like there were constantly new faces, making it difficult to feel there was consistency in my child's care. At times, some classrooms also appeared to be led by very young staff members, which made me question the level of experience available. Finally, I attended the recent graduation ceremony and personally felt the Hollywood theme was NOT the best choice for an early childhood celebration. A bit inappropriate if you ask me. Overall, this center was not the right fit for our family. For the tuition being charged, I believe there are cleaner, more modern centers with stronger communication and greater consistency. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this daycare.

This is great for working and non-working parents. Staff is amazing! They're all committed to taking care of the kids and always provide very personalized feedback on my kids. They adapt their care to each kid, each personality and make sure everyone feels good. They were particularly helpful for potty training, and very patient too! The new director is really making sure all key information are well communicated to the parents and is always seeking for enhancements. They have a curriculum for each of the classes, starting at 2 year old. A typical day starts with music, breakfast and circle time. Then they have a learning activity. They would spend time outside is weather permitted. They do art projects, learn songs, dance,... Also, they have a huge outdoor private playground (very rare in Manhattan) where the kids can play. They have a lot of toys from slide to seesaw and even scooters. They provide lunch as well, made by a wonderful cook on the premises in an actual kitchen. Week menus are provided to the parents (there is always a fruit for desert). I'm so happy we discovered this daycare and I'm confident that my kids there are growing so well and are very safe. Also note that they handled the Covid crisis perfectly. They organized recurrent zoom meetings (3 per week) to make sure the kids don't disconnect from school. Thanks to the great staff again! I recently removed my children from there after three months of their being enrolled. The main…read morereason was that one of my children kept coming home, saying that he was afraid to go to school, and considering that he had attended a different preschool prior to this, and never said anything like that, we were worried, we informed his teacher who basically dismissed it. We informed the Director of the school who accused me of lying. If I knew then what I know now I would have recorded every conversation I had with any member of that school especially the teacher of the three-year-olds. I am 100% positive that this teacher has lied to me and lied about certain things at least twice, and an audio recording of our conversations would validate everything I have to say. I protected my kids by pulling them out. You should protect yourself going in there. Legally, in the state of New York, you are allowed to record your conversations with another person without them knowing that you were doing so. This is a law that changes on a state-by-state basis. If I am a liar, then nothing bad happens if you record the conversation because there would be nothing to report. But since I'm positive I am not lying and I suspect I am not the only person who's gone through this, you should go ahead and start proactively recording your conversations with the teacher, because when they accuse you of lying, you can prove that you were telling the truth.

Our daughter has been attending since she was just 6 months old and is now a thriving 2.5-year-old who loves going every day. Over the past two years, she's learned so much--she can count to 20, recognize letters and their sounds, and has developed a wonderfully expressive vocabulary. Beyond literacy and numeracy skills, TNP has given her essential emotional tools: she's learned how to recognize and regulate big feelings with breathing techniques and gentle guidance. She's even started potty training with confidence! From day one, the care and thoughtfulness have been evident. As a baby, she was fed every 3 hours and given all the cuddles and comfort she needed. Now, she enjoys 3 healthy meals a day provided by the daycare. (Truly an unexpected bonus given how affordable the daycare is!) She's also soaking up Spanish too! The variety of activities keeps her engaged and happy--community walks, sprinkler time in the summer, music and art classes, and plenty of free play. She's learned manners, how to take turns, and how to be a respectful friend. She's built a sweet circle of friends she enjoys seeing outside of daycare, too. And i listened to it. They have helped me in so many ways, it's like Im dropping him off to my sisters house. He's comfortable there and cared for. As a first time parent, it's not easy to let your little one go and put them in the care of someone else's arms. But i would choose them over and over again. One of the Lenox Hill owners, Dr. Fisk is very responsive on email (actually answering questions rather than directing us to the website/FAQs etc) and he invited us on a Zoom call when we were first looking to review the curriculum and features of this brand new school. He also was patient and well-informed to address our (many!) random questions. We are very pleased with the prices as well - cheaper than Vivvi, Primrose, and Bright Horizons and (in our opinion) a far better curriculum and facility with personable leadership that truly cares about running an excellent program. Cannot recommend more highly enough!!
