So I…read morecall La Patite corporate and just ask what their discipline is and they tell me its no tolerance, so I go and talk with the director ( Kris ) and she says she allowed staff to put him in the corner in the kitchen ( no cameras ). So I asked them please stop doing things not acceptable and to call me if there are any issues and I will work with him, but humiliation will no longer be accepted. Not 5 hours later the assistant to the director, has him in a chair basically facing the corner so I call and say we just had a conversation about the discipline, give me time to work with Sam ( 5 years old ) he starts yelling on the phone that I'm a bad dad and that my son is horrible even though my son has went there his entire life. To make it even worse I called corporate again and tried to speak with Kris's boss Laura Graves, and she said that it will be his last day. Blessing in disguise, I'm glad Sammy told me and he will no longer go through that. Only bright spot of that daycare is Carol Jean, the rest of that daycare has high turnover and no drug testing for the staff. Just please pay attention and talk with your children .

Yes, an older building, a little cramped in the locker room and other areas. But easy access, plenty of parking, friendly staff, and the workout area (the only one I actually used) was great. Medium-sized, plenty of machines open on a weekday morning. Looks bigger with the walls of windows, and mirrors on the interior walls. Everything clean and in good shape. It even has its own wetland/natural area outside, with picnic tables. Hopefully they will rebuild here, because it's a great location.

Watching the kids meet up there after school to play in the gym until their parents got off work was a nice trip to the past. I joined to take advantage of the gym and the swimming pool, as I was recovering from total knee replacement so this was the perfect situation for me. They don't have a great variety of gym equipment, but there's enough there to suit your needs. They have a great staff that is attentive and willing to work with you, no matter what the situation. I wish they had longer hours, but that's ok. They're open long enough for the great majority.

Also, we were told that our sone did not fit in and we must take him to the Dr to see what was wrong with him well since then he has been diagnosed with autism and extremely mild form and no where else that he was at had any issues with him so the problem is the owners. So if you want to take your son to a place where they must act a certain way and fit some predetermined mold take them here and get ripped off for sub par care. I want mynson to me masculine personally and also after we left there he was so much happier. Goddard was 1000 times better..go there . This is a common problem with the owners at Polaris and Pickerington, they have no business running a childcare facility. I feel sorry for families that have to deal with these people.

Mandy & Lindsey have been absolutely a God send in caring for our little guy these past few months!! I have recommend several friends already and we appreciate the photos they send to us =)) We scoured all the local daycare's and really found this to be the most nurturing environment where the focus is on the kids and not on some regimented curriculum. While Child's Play is a Learning Center, I say it's a "Learning & Loving Center". He loves to go outdoors in the natural play area. Recently, he showed off his ability to add "really big numbers" and how he's now sounding out words. CMC lives up to everything Montessori should be--hands on, self-guided, and collaborative. The classroom is beautifully laid out so the kids can move around, preparing snack or doing a big "work" on a rug. I would highly recommend CMC for anyone interested in full day child care and who believes in the beauty of a Montessori education.
