This place is amazing. I trust them with my kids lives 100%. Both of mine go here. They've learned a ton. Every single teacher is amazing. Gretchen is great. The entire faculty and community makes you feel like you're a part of a great big family. Every teacher I have met has been so welcoming and friendly, even if they are not my son's teacher. Hands down THE BEST center we have ever been at! The owner is such a kind hearted woman and it extends to her employees! I am greeted each day when i drop my son off & the staff always has positive reports each night at pick up. As a first time parent, I could not ask for better care for my child. He has been attending the School since he was 9 weeks old and has thrived since then. The teachers are very respectful to following each child's individual feeding and nap schedule and focus on what they NEED rather than what works for the teacher. We LOVE the pictures of our child engaging in play and hitting new milestones. Although we are not currently allowed in the building, I still feel as if the teachers do a wonderful job of communicating with the families and making us feel in the loop. THEY DO NOT CARE, Just wanted to grab everyone's attentions for this this particular daycare does not include lunches and they do not care if your 2 year old child goes the whole day without eating. They barely communicate what is going on with your child daily and they send you a million emails where they include hidden fees and literally all information about the school plus information specifically about your child so get use to checking multiple emails from them a day they will never call unless your child is sick and they want you to pick them up. I was told that I need to improve the quality of lunches sent with my 2 year old because he smashes everything up and they cannot force him to eat or stop him from crushing his food since they have other students to watch. This happened from our start with them in the spring all the way until December and once I read the emails and realized there were like 4 days recently he hadn't been eating anything and they hadn't said anything I was deeply upset and addressed the situation with them again for the 2nd time and this time they wanted to lie and act like me telling them no to throwing away food I buy and to make sure my son eats when he's there from 7-5pm made their teacher cry this same teacher greeted me with an attitude and condescending smile as soon as I asked her to make sure he eats today and than one of the apparent managers started acting as if I was yelling and up out of myself hype or like the "angry black guy" this immediately made me feel like they are prejudice and not the right fit for mixed families or families of color. After that altercation in which the manger agreed it was too long for a baby to go not eating and admitting that she couldn't go that long. I received an email from the owner telling me she had some concerns she wanted to address I immediately called to see what was up and that's when she started doubling down on defending her employee who wasn't feeding my child she also recommended that I not go back and than one day randomly a week later blocked the door on my way out and accused me of always smelling like marijuana in the middle of the hallway as if she has ever seen me smoking or as if I'm not coming directly from work I think these people are crazy and lazy they allegedly received complaints from multiple parents when there was literally no one else there besides teachers and kids. I think they were just so mad that I didn't turn into the "angry black guy" when they tried being fake saying I made their teacher cry that they were willing to take things to any length because they didn't like how I professionally told them off. There are literally so many other daycares around as well as other Goddard schools I would recommend going to one that is not associated with Gretchen the owner here I still cannot believe this is how this woman chose to handle the situation right before the holidays. My only concern was making sure my child was fed when he's in there professional care for 8 hours while I'm at work I truly hope karma hits them and this review helps other parents make an informed decision it was right around the corner from my parents house and i went there without doing much research they don't have cameras and they have a weird staff the only teacher there that was great was miss Becky my kid loved her and she was genuinely nice but once he moved onto the older class he wasn't being fed again and having bad days at school I feel bad he had to go through that with them they should know better to feed a kid literally starving him. I saw they tried to debunk my review lol smh if your looking for a good daycare that has multiple children of color as well as staff of color that provides lunches and seems to be genuinely nice I recommend kinder care in Phoenixville don't waste your time and money with this racist place they are super lazy and messed up have a happy new year everyone and make sure the people you leave your kids with are good people in my opinion these ladies here at schwenksville goddard school are very bad people. read more

This school is an incredible facility with hardworking, energetic, and loving staff and teachers. My child loves going to school and cries when he has to leave for the day. To say that everyone there treats each child as if s/he were their own would be an understatement. The amount of information presented in a creative way is amazing. read more

This is by far the BEST daycare! My daughter was kicked out of her previous daycare for her behavior and it was the best thing that could have ever happened! When we arrived to take a tour, was waiting outside to greet us. The staff goes above and beyond for the kids and it shows! The kids all get greeted in the morning with conversation from their teachers and the teachers sit at a table that allows the kids to interact with the teachers on their level. My daughter's behavior improved significantly thanks to the understanding, experienced, and genuine staff. We had to switch daycares this year due to starting kindergarten, as the district wouldn't bus her to and from Goddard. It broke my heart and hers. I cry every time I drop her off at her new daycare because they don't love her like Goddard did. She got hugs every day in the morning and afternoon at Goddard, despite whatever behavior she had that day. If you want quality child care, I highly reccomend Goddard. So far, none of the other daycares come close to the level of care that Goddard offers. read more

12 years ago I was in a desperate search to find a great "daycare" in the area.The wait-list, for most of the good quality schools, was quite extensive and at that time the options we're limited. The Goddard School of Schwenksville opened their doors and their arms to my family. I have had the luxury of watching my children grow and learn under the guidance of Goddard. My family has come to know and love many of the amazing families who attend school. The Owner, Gretchen, goes above and beyond to make her school a unique learning environment. The classrooms are taught by very loving and talented teachers, most of which are no longer just teachers but close friends. If you are looking for a good start to your kiddos education, a creative environment and a fun community look no further... this school is it! We transferred our son to Goddard just before he turned three. It was a difficult decision to make the switch because we were happy with where he was. We decided to do so because we felt the structure and curriculum that Goddard offers would be beneficial for the next stage of his development. Our son is now 4 and we are happy with the outcome of our decision. He has developed immensely in many ways since being at Goddard. He has made many friends and has learned so much that will help him once he moves on to kindergarten. We have enjoyed all the teachers he has had at Goddard...they have all been great and have truly cared for him and helped him to grow. They have provided just the right balance of discipline and love to help him grow and learn. They have also gone above and beyond to address any special needs or concerns that we have had along the way. The teachers, as well as the administration, really are wonderful and put their all into doing their job on a daily basis. They are kind, professional, experienced and loving. In addition they provide many opportunities for families to be involved with the school and to meet other families. The other thing we love is how they develop themed curriculums each week where all the lessons tie together and revolve around a specific theme. This summer our son had so much fun during camp and doing all the fun field trips they planned. It's so nice to hear him talk about all the things he learns ad to be excited about what he is learning. He really loves it there and has fun at school every day. He will be sad to leave when the time comes but there is no doubt that he will be more than ready for the next phase and he will walk away with many happy and warm memories of "his Goddard School." read more
