When our daughter was a newborn my wife and I did extensive research to find a daycare we can trust. Several interviews and tours later we decided on the Goddard School. The teachers are thoughtful and the parents all seem to have similar views on ethics and morals, something missing at several of the other schools we looked at! After approximately 6 months of attending the school we were relocated to Arkansas for work, and our daughter Sophia was taken out of the school we came to be so comfortable with. Fast forward three years later, we were relocated back to Chicago for work again. Our decision was quite an easy one, we would enroll Sophia back into the Goddard school again. This time around our experience was quite different. Sophia had grown into a little girl and had a personality of her own, and was able to communicate on such a higher level that we were able to have adult conversations with her! She was able to tell us about her friends, daily experiences, what she liked and disliked, how she feels, etc. I cannot say enough great things about the teachers, Ms Amanda and Ms Gina! Sophia loves them as if they were her aunts. When she comes home EVERY day she tells us about her friends, what she did, how much she likes her teachers, everything you would want to hear from your child. We are so satisfied with the school that when we started looking for a new home the location revolved around proximity to the school......we were not taking her out of such a wonderful location. When you come in in the morning, Heather is there to greet you with a smile, and when you leave in the afternoon Anisa sends you off with the same lofty smile you received in the morning. I highly recommend you visit the school and meet with the staff, I have gotten to know the teachers in each classroom as Sophia progressed in her schoolastic career, and ALL of them are really just great people. You have a feeling of security when your drop off life's most precious gift, your child, at the the Goddard school. I thing that says it all! My daughter has gone to Goddard since she was 4 months old (she is now turning 4 years old). I have to say, she has the most amazing teachers any parent could ask for! Ms. Gina and Ms. Amanda are AMAZING people. They truly care about my daughter and I consider them both friends (as does my daughter). Every time I pick her up or drop her off, they are doing a project or learning. They go above and beyond for classroom projects and events. Mr. Frank and Ms. Melissa are also fantastic (it most be genetic because they are Ms. Gina's kids). My son who is turning 18 months is in the kitty kats room with Ms. Kari and Ms. Rachel (also an amazing team). Again, they truly care about my son and I feel better going to work knowing that they are well taken care of. It is so great when my son comes home and points to his nose or shows me his new yoga pose! Ms. Heather, the director is one of my daughter's best friends. My daughter has always shown a special interest in her. She is a great person; ALWAYS there when you need something or have a concern and we would not be at Goddard if it was not for her. I absolutely love this school. I have two sons that go here and everyone I have had the pleasure of coming into contact with has been fantastic. The owner and girls in the front office are just great! My sons have had the best teachers as they've grown over the past year. My youngest son was having trouble transitioning through potty training, changing classrooms and other milestones for his age and his teachers Ms. Gina, Ms.Amanda and Mr.Frank have really helped him. My older son has really enjoyed learning here. I can not believe how much knowledge he has gained since coming to Goddard. His teachers Ms.Annemarie and Ms. Melissa have done an amazing job! I honestly can not say enough good things about this school. They really care about the children, I feel confident that they will be in a safe environment while they are here. I love receiving photos and daily reports of my children so I know what they have been doing all day. Even the food that the children are fed is top of the line. They believe in feeding the children organic foods, which is great. The kids always have a variety of food groups in their meals and that is something I appreciate. My daughter has been attending Goddard School for a year and a half. It was a tough transition for her to go from home to Goddard School. The staff made it more tolerable. The teachers have been wonderful and very attentive to my daughter's needs. Currently she is in Apple Cottage with Ms. Gina, Ms. Amanda, and Mr. Frank. She has so much fun in Apple Cottage. When I pick her up in the evening she will tell me that she had fun which makes me feel so good. Ms. Gina and Ms. Amanda are extremely nice and they truly do care about each and every child in their classroom. I can't ask for better teachers or people to care for my daughter on a daily basis. In the afternoon, Mr. Frank is there and he is wonderful with my daughter. She talks about all her teachers when she is at home. The front office including Ms. Anisa, Ms. Heather, and Ms. Danny are terrific. They are always there to either just say hello or to help out if there is an issue. I am lucky to have found a great school to teach and care for my daughter. It is wonderful to have an owner who is onsite. I would recommend Goddard to any family. read more

We have been taking our son to The Goddard since August of 2012 and have had nothing but wonderful experiences at The Goddard. The teachers and staff there are wonderful and very helpful! The facility is always very clean and well kept. Ms. Gina, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Melissa and Mr. Frank do such a wonderful job with the kids and my son just cannot say enough about them. He just turned 4 and has learned so much in the few months since we have been going there and he has even come out of his shell a lot! Ms. Anisa, Ms. Heather and Ms. Danni (front office) are so welcoming and helpful. They run a very good program and care for each student that attends there. They have recently started using Tadpoles which is an SmartPhone app that sends you pictures and updates throughout the day of your child doing activities. It is always great to get that picture and seeing how happy they are. The Goddard School really cares for your child and I would highly recommend sending your child there if you have a choice! I love the Goodard School in St. Charles. My daughter has been attending the school since Aug. of 2012. Mrs. Gina D. is her teacher. She noticed that my daughter was learning at a slower rate then the other kids in her class. She brought it to our attention immediately and more then once. We started to see what she was saying and got my daughter the services she needed to excel in the classroom. Thanks to Mrs. Gina my daughter is doing really well. My daughter absolutely adores Mrs. Gina. Ms. Amanda is also her teacher and she is so sweet. My daughter goes to school in the morning so she does not get to learn all of the curriculum they go over in the morning. Ms. Amanda goes over the things she missed in the morning so she is never behind or misses out! My husband and I love Goodard and the staff is exceptional! There isn't a better daycare/ school in the area. read more

We have two children that go to Goddard. Before we enrolled our oldest at Goddard we checked out a lot of options. Goddard seemed to be the best fit. My wife and I both felt comfortable leaving our children in their care. Most recently we have been amazed by the care and attention our youngest daughter has received. She has some physical development delays and Ms. Kari and Ms. Rachel have been very attentive. They are both great teachers that I can tell our daughter loves to be around! Like all things in life, you get what you pay for. While Goddard is not the cheapest daycare out there, it is well worth the expense. Everyone we run into tells us how articulate our 4.5 year old is. She is one bright kid, and I would like to think a lot of that comes from the curriculum and pre-school program at Goddard! Keep up the good work! read more

We started our 3-1/2 year old at Goddard in St. Charles about a month ago and I have to say it's been wonderful. Since this was his first time with anyone except family I was a little hesitant, but Goddard keeps my mind at ease with the pictures they send me throughout the day of his activities and daily reports that summarize what he ate, how long he napped and what activities they did the whole day. We requested vegetarian meals for him and they accomodated without any questions. I even get a vegetarian meal calendar every month so I know exactly what he is eating. The teachers (Ms. Gina, Ms. Amanda, Mr. Frank and Ms. Melissa) are great with the kids, always very informative and hands-on. We looked at a couple of other preschools in the area, but Goddard definitely was the best choice in our eyes. read more

The St. Charles Goddard is a great place for us! We moved here last fall from Virginia where my son had been attending daycare since he was 18 months old. I interviewed several other schools and Goddard was the natural fit based on meeting the owner/director and taking a tour and meeting the teachers. The transition to Goddard was easier than I had anticipated thanks to the awesome directors and teachers. My son loves, I repeat, loves Miss Gina and Miss Amanda!! Goddard is truly a school, not a daycare, that develops and prepares children for Kindergarten and up. I know that my son is safe and happy while I'm at work. I love receiving pictures of my son via Tadpole on my smartphone throughout the day as well as his daily reports. I would strongly recommend Goddard to a friend!! read more

My 2 children just recently started at the Goddard School of St. Charles- and so far it's been great! The owner and manager are very nice and the teachers have been very accommodating to my kids starting 1/2 way through the year. My daughter (2 years) had some anxiety with me leaving her there in the morning and her 2 teachers have been wonderful with making her feel safe at school. Today at drop-off she was tear-free and super excited to play with her new friends. I also love the daily take home sheets that discuss what the children did that day-- activities, outdoor play, what they ate....etc. The previous school we attended did this on a weekly basis. My daughter is in the Little Angels class with Miss Stefanie, Miss Megan and Miss Vanessa. She has been going there since she was three months old and is now seven months old. I know she looks forward to going every day. All three of her teachers are attentive, nurturing, personable, and very creative! I get daily pictures showing myself and my husband what activities she is doing. We look forward to our daily pictures and reports showing us what our daughter is doing throughout the day. Every picture, she is laughing or smiling. It makes me feel good leaving her in their care. I have two children at The Goddard School in St. Charles and combined we have been with Goddard for approximately 5 years!!! I trust the teachers and the administration like I would my own family. I cannot say enough about how dedicated this School is to the education and the well being of my children. Both have been there since they were 12 weeks old and my oldest is about to move on to Kindergarten. Before I chose Goddard I looked at many schools in the area and I don't even live in St. Charles - Goddard was the best around.
