Then a problem arose in which his expensive laser testing tool said my bar wasn't gold. It was sealed in a plastic case to protect the bar and the maker's stamping. He suggested I call the company from whom I bought it, which I did but they offered no help. I went back to Tony and asked him to remove the container and rescan it - and all was well. Throughout all this Tony was considerate and helpful, as well as teaching me all the aspects about this sort of thing. I feel like he is a man of integrity and clearly he knows his business! When I finally reached someone by phone, I was told -- directly -- that they don't have time to answer emails or take calls because they are too busy. Read that again: too busy to answer customers who are trying to give them money. There is no proper online ordering system, no follow-up, no basic customer service, and zero respect for potential buyers. If you don't want to sell online or respond to inquiries, then don't pretend to have a website that suggests otherwise. This is not how a legitimate or serious business operates in 2025. Ignoring customers and brushing them off with "we're busy" is unacceptable. Communication is the bare minimum -- and they completely failed.
