Bought product 4-years ago and was sad it cost so much. I been having major back problems where I can not stand for more then three minutes or my back has horrible pain where I must move sit like someone is pinching me. First I'll start off by recommending seeing a medical professional before you go. I went into the Good Feet Store already knowing the type of support I needed. Frank greeted me and led me to an area that had a foot massager while he was tending to other customers. I did hear him disclose to another customer that they do not diagnose conditions. Knowing I needed arch support for my posterior tibial tendinitis he fitted me with insoles that provided immediate support. I walked around the store in different types of insoles. Frank thoroughly explained the three step process and how it works. Everything corresponded with the insoles I tried on. Once we had that done then came the package options. Yes, they are pricey but if you can get them definitely do so, I used my FSA to cover some of the cost. The relief I felt was immediate and that's what won me over. To be able to walk without limping and an improved gait I had no issue with the costs. In conclusion I had a great experience. Frank was awesome and I do see this as an investment in my health. The company's own printed material says, "representatives are not authorized to diagnose or give any medical advice . . . They instruct you to wear inserts and shoes all day, that is not professional guidance and only a medical professional can truly advise you on how to recover from an injury. I went in to see what this support was all about. I explained to him that I had a bone growth on my right foot that caused pain. He did not ask me any quetions or asked to see the growth. He had me stand on a square platform that identifies two red spots on on each foot. Without an explination of what that indicated he went to the back and brought out an arch support, black in color thay again he did not explain what that arch support would accommplish. He put the arch form into my shoes and had me walk. Immediately I had excruciating pain. I informed the salesman of the pain and he went to the back and brought out another shoe implant. He proceeded to insert the arch support into my shoes and when I told him that I still had pain he informed me that I needed to get used to it. needless to say I have a $400.00 insert that I can't return and can't use it. read more

I have worn custom orthotics from Podiatrists for over 30 years. I went to at least four different doctors in that time, some more than once, they all did the same thing - walk across the floor, stand on plaster and in a week or two new orthotics would arrive, they were all about the same and most required a wide shoe and the heels were never really wide enough. Ed at the Good Feet store had me walk and stand on a pad that measured the pressure points, which indicated I should wesr different orthotics during the day. The first have a very high arch and straighten my walk on a lot. i tried this, changing them out at least to the regular and sometimes what the called the maintainer. i could have likely been fine without the maintainer and the relaxed one. Overall these are at least as effective as the Podiatrist model, and I had more improvement more quickly so they seem better to me. read more

He took care of the situation to our satisfaction when he easily could have refused, and for that we are VERY appreciative!! Go to "Foot Solutions"!! I am an elderly woman dealing with constant painful, sore feet. I was eagerly greeted by one of the employees who reminded me of a car salesman. He pushed a new pair of shoes and three pairs of insoles on me and of course said I needed socks too. All this for a grand total of over $2500!!!!! Told him I didn't need three pairs of insoles if I don't have three pairs of shoes. I felt like I was being heavily pressured by this employee, maybe they work off commission, but I left empty handed and was advised by a friend to try Foot Solutions off Blanco and Loop 1604. Got a pair of shoes and insoles for $275. No pressure and I don't feel like I was being screwed like at Good Feet. read more

I visited the store in the hope of gaining relief from foot pain. The salesman wouldn't listen to me. He kept bringing me shoes that didn't fit my foot so I couldn't tell if the orthotic insert was a good fit for me. In his effort to force the ill fitting shoes to fit he kept over tightening the laces causing me pain. I finally had enough and left with out relief and quite frustrated with pain in the top of foot (which I didn't have when I got there). I went to the store and was met by Anna, a Sales Rep. I told her exactly why I was in pain with jogging, or speed walking around a local high school track. She then measured my feet, did a special ink test, to see where the pressure points are on both feet. She then brought out a special pair of shoes, with the inserts. I tried on the shoes and they fit pretty good. A day later I did do a test on the School track, and the bad pain I ALWAYS felt in my left foot on the track, was not there (First time in a year). Okay, I will start this off by saying that I personally have never been fitted or tried out a pair of their insoles. This review is solely (get it..ha ha) what i experienced as a bystander. First off, the "consult" takes 30 minutes. Our rep, Mary, forgot to mention this until we were 15 minutes in and wondering where in the hell she went off to. That being said, they are very thorough and take a pressure point impression of you feet to help them customize a plan for you. There are 3 different insoles as I recall, each with different levels of stability depending on what you need. I will say that they try to upsell a lot with toe cushions, insoles, and really would love that everyone purchase the whole package which costs an arm and a leg. For the everyday arch support insoles it'll run you about $350 and then for one of the other 2 step-down versions $270. Now that's not with anything else included. YIKES! For those people that will pay any amount of money to be pain free when they walk this may be a great option, but I'll just keep shopping for now. read more

Be careful with these types of stores. After experiencing weeks of plantar fasciitis, I entered the store to look at their advertised $79 orthotics, only to be disappointed at hearing what's really involved. Basically, these people are sales personnel who try to get you to buy a step program, where you keep correcting your feet with new orthotics until you are "healed". Your cost could be $1,000. I think I will buy just the basic $79.00 one that was advertised, or I will try that Dr Scholls machine at Walmart. read more

I visited this store for a specific problem. However, instead of addressing my issue I was pitched a spiel to sell their plastic inserts. The inserts seemed to be helpful, although a little uncomfortable, but didn't solve my problem at all. Then after spending 30 minutes trying out inserts, participating in physical demonstrations, and walking laps around the store, I was hit with the price. It's over $1000 for the three pairs of plastic inserts, a foam liner, and a pair of orthopedic looking shoes. Are you kidding me?!?!?! I went into the Good feet store yesterday I did not know what I was getting my self into. I heard about the good feet store on the radio. I am a runner, I was having pain with my hip and my feet. I figured I'd try their insoles. I didn't really think I was going to spend more than $100 for a pair of insoles. I thought it was just going to be a store I could browse through. One of the sales people greeted me and I already had a feeling that he was going to talk me into spending money. I got to try on the insoles three different pairs and then after that he quoted me a price and I thought it was ridiculous. Why do I need to buy three pairs of insoles and I only wanted one I was thinking. He quoted me a price of $500 and something for the three and plus I needed to purchase these other three to put on top of them. Do your research first before shopping at the Good feet store that's my suggestion. I didn't buy all three. I just bought one plastic one and then three of the other ones he said that I had to have . So I ended up spending $315.00. which is still more than what I thought I was going to spend. I really hope these work. I will not be shopping there again. I felt pressured into buying these insoles for a high price. I'm sure there's got to be cheaper insoles that work just as good. read more

$1,600.00 for inserts that are not even molded to your foot!? They have a stock supply of them in the back and then a pushy sales man comes out to really push you into spending $1,600 on inserts. I went to my podiatrist and they special molded my foot, sent it off and I received an insert customized for my foot for $399.00 still pricey but better then $1,600!!!!! The sales man Ed made me feel very uncomfortable with how pushy and over bearing he was being. I know he's trying to make a commission but nope. Sorry! My husband is the one with the foot discomfort, being on his feet on a cement floor daily at work. We had only seen or heard commercials for this store. Since he has tried several other inserts, I encouraged him go with me to the Good Feet Store. We had never seen anything about their pricing (...and, sadly, I had not read the Yelp! reviews.) After a consultation that lasted about an hour, him trying on a variety of inserts, and walking back and forth in the store, our sales person hit us with the price for the entire system: over $1400! We were speechless. Had the three step system been even $300, we were prepared to pay that much for his relief. Even the one main insole alone was $399! As he back pedaled and explained that he wasn't prepared to spend that much money, she encouraged us to use a credit card or their convenient financing plan: we can pay it off over a year with no interest! Finally, when she realized that we might actually leave the store without buying anything, she brought out a gel insole that was only $100. My husband tried that, and he felt the same relief, so decided to buy it. She casually said that he might want their foam inserts for (whisper) $159. (Seriously, you could buy something similar at HEB for $10.) He said okay because he didn't hear the whispered price. When the total came to $280, he had her take the foam inserts off the bill. She obviously wasn't happy with that, and we left the store with one gel insole, exhausted from the experience. I believe these products are seriously over-priced, and I wonder how many customers actually dig deep to buy the system. I imagine that people who walk into the store experiencing pain at that moment are more likely to buy just to alleviate the pain right then. Like going to the grocery store when you haven't eaten all day. For that much money, better to go to an actual podiatrist. read more

Extremely aggressive sales-tactics bordering on insulting were the first clue that I couldn't trust their products. I thought it would be more professional. The store looks nice and clean, but their product is crap. Just walking on it around the store for a demo made my feet cramp all day. It felt like I was walking on a golf ball. The arch was extremely high and unforgiving and that is somehow what they tried to sell me, someone with no arch at all. Yeah, I would've needed to go to a podiatrist after the first hour. Also, the sales pitch took an entire hour just for them to tell me in the end that the entire package of horribly fit insoles that damaged my feet in 10 minutes was going to be $1400. Seriously. The podiatrist, who I should've gone straight to instead, would've cost a heck of a lot less. Also, back to their sales tactics--- one demonstration they did with me was have me place both hands in front of me in fists atop one another and try to resist their downward pull. Then, they had me step on insoles and did it again BUT PULLED AT ABOUT HALF THE STRENGTH. This tactic was made famous by the company that used to sell the little placebo magnetic bracelets people used to buy with the promise of helping your body with balance. I immediately wanted to leave after this, but decided to stay and be passive just to not be a jerk. But, then, when I told her that I was going to have to discuss such a purchase with my husband (as I had not planned to spend $1400,) she decided to husband shame and say, "well, my husband would do ANYTHING for my health. He knows how important it is." That was dumb. Maybe the people who sell these dumb products really believe in them. Just go to Feet Fleet. You'll notice the difference. And you'll spend only $40 on some insoles that will change your life there. read more

As I had already gone the route of purchasing Dr. Scholl's inserts and other over the counter inserts, which did not relieve the pain, I thought it was worth checking out. My experience has been very positive. Ed Derendorf did an outstanding job of explaining the 3-step system, and demonstrating how it would help resolve my problem. I've had several follow up appointments for orthotic adjustments and the level of customer service has been exceptional. My foot pain has significantly improved and I'm very pleased with the results thus far. I cannot thank this place enough! I had severe foot pain that I almost considered surgery as my only option!I would buy shoe after shoe ,sole after sole....all for temporary relief, but didnt last long! I finally saw Mary at Good Feet (San Antonio 410). Being that I didn't want surgery, I'd figured it wouldn't hurt to see what see said! After several questions, she was able to find out my problem area,recommend the right soles and I left as if I was walking on air! I'm not gonna lie,it didn't stop my pain 100 %,but if my pain was once a 10....then it went down 4 or 5! I would go home after work and just wanna sit and prop my feet up.....now,it I'm going back to my regular workouts after 3 months of pain! I highly recommend Good Feet! I was quickly helped by Myron. He explained the entire system and made a recommendation. His recommendation factored in my issues and my goals. He actually recommended the least expensive inserts. I opted for a pair of as well. The shoes and the inserts feel great and relieve a lot of my pain. The shoes, by the way, are not the old orthopedic shoes your librarian used ti wear. There was a small but excellent selection of tennis shoes made by Brooks. Even though the store was busy, it was clean and organized. Myron educated me, answered all my questions, took my measurements and did my fittings. He was awesome! I bought my shoes and inserts from Myron. I stopped back in the next day and spoke with Javier, (Myron was off that day.) Even though I hadn't purchased from him, he happily answered all my questions. I was so happy with the starter inserts I am thinking about their top of the line inserts. CONTRARY TO OTHER REVIEWER'S EXPERIENCES: I was informed that the top of the line insert was about $ 390.00. While that seems like a lot, you can REALLY feel the difference it makes. I still love and appreciate my starter inserts but I really want the top of the line after trying them. I am saving up for those now. It's the same with the shoes. I got white, all leather tennis shoes, that look good and are well built and feel better than any other tennis shoes I have ever had, (there is a whole lot of technology in that shoe!) The shoes cost $ 120.00. For a guy who gets irritated spending more than $ 50.00 for a pair if tennis shoes, you understand how good I feel these are. I love this place!!'
