I'm really thankful to have had Dr. Lynn as part of my prenatal team these past few months. Half way through my pregnancy, I started having hip pain at night. At the first appointment, Dr. Lynn gave me some background on the pelvis, what pregnancy can do to it, and other important aspects of alignment throughout one's life (pregnant or not). I've gotten biweekly alignments for a few months now. (I could have come in more frequently, but it's a bit too far for me.) I guess I'll never 100% know what it would have been like without her care, but I always feel a little better the next day. In addition, while the visits are brief, we always have a good conversation, and it is a pretty relaxing experience. I wish it was possible to get reminders the day before an appointment. Instead, I get reminder calls the same day, sometimes just an hour before I would leave my home. I wish there was a better system. I'd also recommend asking early for their package deals; I only learned about them after a few visits at the full price and maybe could have saved a little more money. That being said, I really appreciate Dr. Lynn and her staff and would recommend the practice, especially for pregnant patients. read more

**** If you're on the UC Ship plan, make sure they're only charging you $20 a visit. If you've already been charged $40, ask them for your money back. This is truly an awful establishment. I regret that I didn't trust the reviews questioning their ethical/financial practices. Stay away! There are so many better chiropractor offices nearby. I called in to make an appointment and learned that, despite there being other doctors listed, Lynn is the only chiropractor. I should've realized something was amiss lol, but I go anyway and find the place to be exactly what the low reviews stated, unprofessional. In the middle of our session, she picks up a call from her son cussing and aggressively demanding money from her. It's wild how long I had to listen to this for. She then talks down to me the rest of the time and makes me feel very unwelcome in the space. Suffice it to say, I emailed my doctor afterwards for a referral elsewhere. About the money thing... I heard that with the updated UC Ship plan, the deductible is now $0 so all chiropractic services are $20. Lo and behold, I find that i'm charged $40. I call and they tell me that this is because of the $200 deductible and send me a document stating that. However, my insurance sends me another document stating that it is in fact $0 and I should only have paid $20. Shady afff!! I'm so happy that I trusted my gut and changed offices after this strange visit lol. Hm. Lots of old and outdated reviews here, so I'm going to update with a brand new one. I found Dr. Gerner's practice on a shortlist of well-vetted, highly-recommended pediatric practitioners compiled by my community moms group. My son has quite a few things going on, and despite going to countless specialists, I have not found one doctor who could connect his various symptoms together in a way that she could - I think this is the holistic approach of functional medicine at its best. I felt that her experience came through very obviously in the bodywork, and in the calming energy that's critical when working with young children. What's more, she's an expert in her field - she teaches seminars, and happily lets her teaching side out if clients are interested in learning. I plan on adding myself and my husband into her client roster soon, as we all have chronic body issues that could benefit from an expert's care. Oh. And to add a little context on the insurance disaster that some of the previous reviews brought up - of all the recommended chiropractors on my list, Dr Gerner was the only one who still accepted insurance. Why she still chooses to deal with allowing insurance, I have no idea, but bless her heart for it because many people cannot otherwise afford to pay out of pocket for bodywork. Clients complaining about insurance issues have to understand that the pay-via-insurance route is a highly broken one, and the headache that they, and the practice, have to go through in the process is literally by design. Take it from someone who used to work in the health insurance space. But keep fighting your insurance for your right for coverage. And let Dr Gerner do what she does best, which is to help you heal. read more

We just started here, but I am beyond impressed already! Dr. Lynn's expertise and compassion is beyond impressive. My daughter and I have Ehlers Danlos, and she was able to care and provide tips for us beyond what I imagined. Her pediatric care is also amazing. My daughter (18 months) was having an epically grumpy day, and Dr. Lynn was so patient, understanding, and respectful of my daughters space and feelings. We will be coming back regularly! read more

After reading some of these negative reviews I really felt compelled to write a positive one. Dr. Lynn was incredibly gentle and soothing while working with my months-old baby to help with breastfeeding struggles. She and her staff were incredibly kind and patient during a time I was (unknowingly) struggling with postpartum depression. At that time I had a very hard time leaving the house let alone driving to Davis from Vacaville, but the environment was very welcoming for a new mom and there was a room available to nurse when needed. After seeing Dr. Lynn, we did see a lot of improvement not only with nursing but also sleep and digestion. I would recommend her 100%. read more

STAY AWAY! As long as Lynn is there stay as far away as possible. I was a patient here from July 2016 till just last week. There was a huge exodus of employees. Dr Scott, Dr Natalie, and Tanya all left(they're at pure motion on Anderson and not coming back despite what Lynn will tell you). Tells you a lot about how this place is run. I gave Lynn a shot twice because she didn't bother to tell me that my doctor for the last 8 months had moved and I needed help with my back. Both times she didn't fully adjust me and left my neck cramped and me feeling horrible. To make things worse when I tried to settle my PI claim she gave me an invoice that I was to forward to my insurance adjuster with one amount and another invoice when I requested a second copy with different amounts! Shady.. if you've ever been here I would check your medical records/ billing and contact the board / insurance provider so they can investigate. Lynn never makes time to speak with her patients. It's always "email" and I'll get back to you later. She will only make time if it's for her benefit. Don't believe me? Read the recent reviews. Things have truly gone down hill for this place. Horrible, shady, inconsiderate, not caring. These all describe Lynn and her office. UPDATE: Dr Lynn is now ignoring calls from my insurance provider. Hey have made multiple attempts to reach her but she still has not returned their calls Dr Lynn still has not returned calls to my insurance provider and auto claims agent. My adjuster and insurance provider say that charges don't make sense and that they need to speak to her. Multiple emails sent to her personal email as well as goodlife email, multiple voicemails left and nothing from her in return. I've also opened a report with the board of chiropractic health. Bills have been sent from her billing department and they don't even reflect payments I made to her. It's nice to see someone take your money and not even record it on your account. Updating again. Dr Lynn responding to this saying she waived this and that and everything in between yet nothing has been done yet. I like how she says A-Z has been taken care of in the public eye yet nothing really has taken place. My insurance adjuster was finally able to speak with her billing department and requested documentation to finalize my claim on August 2nd. Still no response.... read more

I purchased a groupon for my father to try this office out. He was happy with his visits with Dr. Bryon Cloyd and decided to start seeing him on a monthly basis. My father had been pleased with the results of the procedures, but after numerous issues with billing he is going to another chiropractor. The office refuses to bill his Medicare Supplemental, resulting in large bills to his credit card. He spoke over the phone and in person at the office multiple times and was told his Medicare Supplemental would be billed, only to see charges on his credit cards later that the office then refused to remove. read more

I have a lot of scar tissue on my forehead from repeated surgeries, and she has been able to reduce the scar tissue that was causing me a lot of headaches and overall pain. I've been seeing Dr. Lynn for several weeks after being hit by a car. Within 2 visits my pelvis/sciatic pain was much better (I was amazed) and she's been helping me manage my head and rib pain weekly since the accident. I also recently brought my 14 month old in because he wasn't sleeping well (waking every 90 minutes) and after the first visit, his sleep improved immensely. I had my 1st visit with Dr. Z and OH MY GOSH she knows what she is doing! I have been to MANY chiropractors that have gotten no movement out of my back and or relief. Im a bigger girl who works as a dental assistant and i needed someone to actually get my back and neck some relief and Dr. Z took the time to hear my concerns and understand the extent of my pain and knew exactly what needed to be done and was very thorough and explained everything she was doing in detail! I hurt my lower back recently and needed to find a local chiropractor. I setup an appointment with Dr Bryon and was very please when I went in for my first adjustment. He has been very sensitive to my needs and makes sure the patient is comfortable with the adjustment. I was able to get some immediate relief, but it was a pretty bad pull so I saw him a few more times over the following weeks. I'm doing much better now and would recommend them to anyone seeking a great adjustment. The office staff is very friendly and helpful as well. And their massage therapist Ann does a great job. Dr. Raneem Zhouby is the BEST! I came in months ago with back pain but had no idea what being in alignment everywhere felt like. I absolutely love this place! I went in last year with severe lower back pain. The pain was unbearable at times. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Raneem for an adjustment. I walked into the office with severe back pain. I left the office feeling no pain! It really was like night and day! I have been going there ever since for monthly adjustments. I have been seeing Dr Lynn since she first came to Davis. She always takes time to address all of my concerns and has always been able to restore me to good physical health. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and if I have had an urgent problem I have always been seen immediately. Pain can be a daunting experience and Dr Lynn never fails to reassure. I have been seeing Dr. Lynn since I was 20 weeks pregnant with my now 4 year old. She always takes care of the issues that I tell her I am having in different parts of my back, neck, jaw, legs, ankles, or feet. My wife went to Good Life Chiropractic for back pain during pregnancy. This is her review: The woman at the front desk is lovely. Dr. Gerner did seem to have a pleasant bedside manner during my first appointment and asked many questions during that hour. I felt that the misalignments she identified in my body made sense with where my pain was. Unfortunately, each subsequent appointment got shorter and shorter... regular appointments are only 15 minutes, and do not include any discussion of "how are you feeling? Anything bothering you?", any soft tissue work, or do-at-home exercises (both of which could help keep the adjusted joints in their new place...I hate to think that's her business strategy)... but the bottom line is I am now in more pain in my pelvis and back than when I started going to see her. The normal progression of discomfort in pregnancy? Maybe...but that's what I went to a chiropractor to decrease. read more
