This was my first time seeing a chiropractor, and it was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Wilson is extremely knowledgeable and was patient with keeping me informed through out the whole process. Yesterday was my first visit and it was smooth and easy. We started with an in-depth eval; explanation of how the muscles, nerves, and bones within the spine work; and then went into treatment. He focused on pressure points and adjusted my neck and spine. I'm not too familiar with the physiological terms, but it felt good! We ended with a warm and cold compress. Location was welcoming and pretty. Very serene, and I felt comfortable walking in. Felt instant relief and coming back again today to continue treatment. Planning to see him a few more times a week. Dr. Wilson is really good at explaining every step of the process and is really patient. I just got into an automobile accident and was rearended. My back and neck and base of my neck have been really sore and tense, but Dr. Wilson was able to help ease the pain after one session. He explained beforehand what to expect and then each time he was going to do something new, he gave clear instructions and always checked to see if I was doing okay. Dr. Wilson is great! I was in a no fault car accident that totaled my vehicle. Luckily enough I sustained no permanent physical injuries. I consider myself very lucky. Dr. Wilson's office came recommended and it was on point. Communication is huge. Dr. Wilson sits with you before your 1st treatment and explains in detail what he does and how it works. He uses life size models to show you where your damage was caused, what could possibly be happening and how his plan will work to resolve issues you have. This is my 1st time using a chiropractor and I'm having a great experience. Because of the communication piece I understand what happened in my car accident and how my treatment is working to fix my back pain. I really enjoyed seeing in models the muscles and bones that we were working to fix through my treatment. I feel confident in the work being done. About 2 weeks ago I injured my neck/traps doing heavy overhead presses in the gym. Hurt it so bad that I couldn't move my head without having to turn my whole body to look. I went to see Dr. Wilson after my previous chiropractor retired. And I fell on and fractured my tailbone AGAIN! I was able to get in to see him quickly and was immediately at ease in his quiet, comfortable office. He listened to my information, asked questions, and gave me an adjustment. I appreciated that he didn't want to take x-rays and trusted that I know my body. The adjustment was painless, and he explained everything as he went. While I was still uncomfortable for the next day and a half or so, I haven't experienced any pain or discomfort since then, even when sitting or sitting up on the floor (yoga). Having broken my tail bone before, I am familiar with the weeks it takes to heal. I believe the adjustment I received from Dr. Wilson helped to improve my comfort level significantly.
