They also have an outside mausoleum. They offer a neat "flower placement program" where they will place a silk floral arrangement on your loved one's grave either once or on a regular basis. Also, if you are looking for a grave and can't find it just go to the office. The office will print you a small map of the section the grave is located and mark the space so you can find it. The staff is very friendly. The cemetery is very well maintained. They also have several columbarium areas within the cemetery for cremated remains. If you are looking to purchase a cemetery space this is best cemetery around to do so.

Linn-Honeycutt may charge over $2,500 plus a process fee for insurance paid claims. To transfer a loved one they charge $450 where others charge a fair price of $150. Look at the pictures, the place needs major work to bring it to the 2000's the Furniture and interior is very out of date. For the standard "service fee" (that they charge everyone) of $1,050 one would expect more, better interior, better service better restrooms etc. This place is out of the 1970's but the fees are out of 2018. It is a difficult and rapid decision one has to make when their loved one passes. Be prepared and make the decision that is right for you choose a service provider with care. I also feel that is vulgar for a funeral director to drive a fancy new sports car to work when his clients can barely afford a simple service, it is a "slap-in-the-face" to all who struggle to have a service for their loved ones. I had the funeral home make all of the arrangements and everything was done in a timely manner. The staff did an excellent job with communication and answering all of my questions. The cemetery itself isn't extremely big as other national cemeteries which means you won't have a problem navigating your way around. There is a grave locator at the entrance which helps you find your loved one. The grounds are immaculate and meticulous and the ground crew maintains everything to a standard befitting our veterans. The ceremony itself was very emotional, the reverence displayed was more than I could've expected. I without a doubt recommend Salisbury VA National Cemetery for your veteran family members.
