Perhaps their ethical methods of chicken production could be improved, but hey, it tastes too good! As for this outlet in particular, it is quite small and often seems understaffed. There tends to be a huge mammoth que at lunchtimes on sat and sunday, but generally, an ok outlet to get ur chicken!

THIS REVIEW IS OF THE QUALITY OF FOOD ALONE!!! I am actually from western NY, within 50 miles of where Buffalo Wings became famous and every western New Yorker knows a good chicken wing and I have only ever found one place in the UK with good enough wings for them to remind me if home... But now I've found another!!! I've been seeing this business prepare for opening over the last few wings and when I realised it was an American Wing Restaurant I was so excited as it's right on my way home! The chicken wings were the right size, had the right crisp and succulence and the buffalo bliss sauce was reminiscent of the Anchor Bar(birthplace of buffalo wings) itself. I was given 5 wings and wedges in what I believe will be one of the menu items. It didn't come with Bleu cheese as standard (which might have been for the pre-opening event..idk) , but I didn't ask for it so I will make sure to do so next time. It did come with coleslaw, though...which I didn't really see the point of, lol! Oh yeah hey have burgers and per menu items, I'll unlikely be trying these soon as wings are now so close to home. Anyway, the opening is on the 5th of November and there is 20% off so I will most certainly be there to get some good wings again.., eventually when they are fully trained, I will update this on service too!

That was great because I was starving. There's a lot of seating inside, mostly upstairs. It seemed they were actively keeping the place very clean. A couple things that stood out to me... The folks bringing food to the tables weren't the friendliest. Not quite rude, but not quite friendly. The food itself was not quite the size we're used to here. I don't take anything away from them for that; it's just something to be aware of. SMS to be fair, I've had smaller portions here in the US (but almost never). Food was OK. Place was clean. There were choice of burgers, dogs or pulled pork in a bun. I ordered the "prince charles is overrated" burger. The patty beef burger were done the way I liked it, quite charred on the outside and medium inside, in a toasted hot bun. It was succulent and tasty served on top of shredded iceberg, pickles and dirty spread (that is what it says on the menu!) and topped with crispy bacon. It also comes with cheese but I asked for no cheese. The basket of fries was a very large side dish, enough for two people to share. We ordered the chilli cheese fries which was seasoned and topped with minced beef covered in cheese and green chilli. They had an interesting "mar-grrr-eat-her" slush cocktail, but unfortunately, they had ran out of the lemon and lime slush, so I tried the local ale instead. There was a constant queue at the door and the waitresses continued to be very cheerful. Lovely and very helpful service. The bill was settled at the counter.
