We were dining 30 minutes before the 9:00 PM closing time when the staff locked the front doors. We did not realize we were trapped until we tried to leave at 9:02 PM and found the doors dead-locked. All three employees had moved to the back of the restaurant, leaving us alone in the front with no way to exit the building. We had to wait for an employee to eventually come out and unlock the door to let us out. Being physically confined in a building against our will was a terrifying experience that felt immediately threatening.
