Part 2.... If I could truly show you my inner feelings on how Att. Demetria Graves and her team has restored my family, I would! From the VERY BEGINNING, her staff (specifically Lynette Turner who is my new best bud in my head) has been responsive. Even more important, instead of making promises on the outcome, they included us in their strategy and told us what the law states! They gave us hope!!!! I have an AFRICAN AMERICAN SON who is the father of twin daughters who hasnt been allowed to see them for almost six months. Our family/village has been a part of them since before birth!!!! To have them taken away has affected soooooo many! The first lawyer I contacted (white gentleman) before knowing the story, stated "Well I'm sure the kids are closer to their mom." That spoke volumes to me and my soul on his perception of black fathers. When I contacted Attorney Graves, she allowed me to tell the story fully (baby mama is wrong for this, and my son ain't perfect...but, he is an excellent father), allowed me to vent, allowed me to worry, but she did not let me stress!!!!! I'm not sure how the firm is but the CEO Demetria Graves and her assistant is terrible. I am a professional athlete and they fail to return emails and phone calls when they say they will. I've only spoken to Demetria by phone "maybe" 3 tines. Everything else through her assistant. They lack sending correct documents, and they barely fought for me as in going through a nasty custody battle. I never gotten the amount they ask for retainer. They are not worth it. They will let you know 3 days prior about hearings or they will wait to tell you things to force your hand to benefit them which has not been the first time and if you not paying upfront they will not tend to your case. This firm is the worse form. I wouldn't recommend this firm to someone who had 100% chance to win, somehow they'll lose it. read more
