I give my very highest recommendation to Todd with Great American Hearing Aid Company. The Hearing aids I recently purchased from Great American Hearing Aid are my third pair. I bought a set from Costco about ten years ago and a set from Bose last year. The ones from Bose were over the counter and they amplified all sounds which helped in some ways and hurt in others. Very quickly the negative outweighed the positive and I didn't wear them. The Costco ones might have been good if the person who fitted them for me took half the time, half the effort and half as much attention as Todd did. These new hearing aids I just got are great but they are great because Todd took the time and effort to make them fit for me with my hearing loss and my ear canals. So far this new set has been perfect in every setting from watching TV AND being able to simultaneously hear and understand what my wife is saying to hearing little birds chirp at sunrise. I play in an amateur orchestra and I can better hear the instruments around me and hear the conductor. I am now part of conversation going out to dinner. Great American Hearing Aid Company is a family business and I feel like I am one of the family. If you think you have a hearing issue you owe it to yourself to go see Todd. You will not find a more caring or technically competent person to get fitted for hearing aids. For me, the entire experience was a good one and the outcome a great one. What I've learned is; you can buy hearing aids almost anywhere but to find a place and then a trained person to work with you to fit them to your needs and then assure, with included follow up appointments, that the hearing aids are working properly for your needs... that is found almost nowhere but it is at Great American Hearing Aid Company. read more

Seeking out proper hearing aids was a daunting task. After suffering a waste of money by buying OTC hearing aids, which were junk, I decided to go through my AARP United Healthcare provider, that turned me on to The Great American Hearing Co. I met with Mr Todd Fasse, who turned out to be an extraordinary audiologist with highly professional skills. Todd walked me through a series of tests, then we ordered the appropriate hearing aids for my situation. Although they weren't cheap, but honestly, you get what you pay for in this case. Todd, who is an absolute pleasure to work with, took me through a series of thorough instruction and measurements to fine tune these aids for me. My whole world has changed dramatically, thanks to Todd. He is a true professional, with very thorough knowledge and wonderful personality to deal with. I have had follow up visits that allowed him to tweak the aids for improvement. In this world today, it was such a pleasure to be treated so professionally. I brought my developmentally disabled brother to Todd for a hearing exam on May 5th, 2023, to potentially purchase hearing aids. The exam was completed. Several weeks later I emailed Todd to explain that I was being asked for a copy of the exam by Arizona Long Term care and my brothers case worker. I asked for a copy of the exam on July 14th 2023 and was told a copy of the exam would be emailed to me but not until Tuesday July 18th 2023 which was fine. Tuesday came and went. When I reached out late Tuesday to inquire about not receiving the email, I was told I would receive it the next day. Wednesday came and went. No email was received. Thursday mid morning I called Todd to once again inquire as to when I would be receiving the exam results. He claimed he thought someone named Cindy had already taken care of it. I then received an email from "Cindy" who said she was very busy and wouldn't be able to provide the exam until next Tuesday. I wrote back explaining that was unacceptable and asked if I could just come in and pick up a copy. I received no response. I then called Todd. He was EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional with me. He told me that "Arizona Long Term care wasn't going to help me anyway", and they "couldn't find" my brothers test results!! How can you tell a client you will email them the results of a test one day, and then tell them you have lost the results or don't have them anymore?? This business should be avoided at all cost. My dad had hearing aids we purchased in SoCal. He hated them and refused to wear them. I saw an ad for the Great American Hearing Aid Company and took my dad to see Todd. He confirmed that the hearing aids my dad had were not ideal for him. He did a full exam and fitted him with new hearing aids. For the last 2 years, my dad has averaged 12 hours a day with them on...everyday! He is very satisfied. When my mother in law moved near us, we took her to see Todd. She was visually impaired and he fitted her with a special set that didn't require her to change batteries. He was very patient with her and spent many office visits teaching her how to put them in and take them out at no extra charge. At some point in time, it'll be our turn and we will definitely visit Todd for our hearing aids! read more

THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS 5 STAR REVIEW OF TODD FAASEE AND THE SIGNIA PURE 7NX WITH A 3 YEAR WARRANTY. I have had hearing aids for over 6 years so I am not unfamiliar with hearing aid providers and what to normally expect from them. The Signia aids have had what I would consider normal maintenance issues. (I logged all of them) The left hearing aid once had a dome that kept staying in my ear, now I am in need to replace it again, it tore. I called Todd to make an appointment, he said he was in a meeting and hung up on me. A few days later I stopped by his office - he didn't bother to come out of his session with someone else, he just yelled out 2 weeks. I said I only need a dome. Todd replied just put it in an envelope and write your name on it and leave on my desk. I chose not to do that. When I originally went to his practice he had just started to advertise heavily in this area. Now I assume as he has built up his practice that he is much busier. Initially, I asked for extra domes knowing that is one of the things that regularly can be a problem. Todd said that they were too expensive to provide. Every other Audiologist I have used provided all kinds of normal consumer supplies (wax filters, domes etc.) Perhaps the initial $4984.00 which I I paid him, he could have provided them to me. I am not going to deal with an arrogant Audiologist. All that being said, Todd is a very capable Audiologist and programmed my hearing aids well. Please consider the above when looking for a hearing aid provider. read more

Let me start by saying........Todd Faase is wonderful!!! When I finally talked my 95 year old mother into moving to Sedona, I was thrilled. My mother is profoundly deaf and since my dad died, I've been concerned about her living alone in NYC. She's been deaf for about 50 years.........she had endured two surgeries to attempt to help her hear.......they both failed. Over the years, she has tried all types of hearing aids but had reached the point where they were no longer helping with her severe form of deafness. My mother is living in an independent senior community here and while the people are very lovely, my mother was feeling somewhat isolated due to her inability to communicate with ease. When she first arrived here I took her to yet another hearing aid office to try the latest and greatest technology........after a month of attempting to get the new hearing aids to work for her, with tears of disappointment, we were forced to return them. My mother was resigned to living a more and more isolated existence................then we met Todd Faase! I had researched online to find someone who could work on my mother's current hearing aids.......they were older analog models and not many people are capable of working with them anymore........ Todd could. He not only made the necessary repairs, but made some other adjustments that made the hearing aids work better than they ever had before.....first miracle!  I told Todd that if he ever came across any new technology that he thought could further help my mother to please let us know. This year, next miracle...........Todd offered to have my mother try out some new hearing aids....he knew how relunctant she was after her horrible experience the previous year, but, he promised her he would do his best to make her hear and told her she would not be obligated if they failed to work for her. We ordered the new hearing aids and when they arrived, Todd spent a whole lot of time calibrating, adjusting, and tweaking them to fit my mother's needs..........and then, for the first time in many, many years.........my mother heard my voice without me looking directly at her and shouting! It was truly AMAZING! On top of that, it changed the way my mother's voice sounded.......she could finally hear herself and her lovely speech and diction returned. We can now have normal conversations. In fact she has asked me several times now to speak more quietly........I will have to get used to not shouting at her! Now that might seem like enough miracles......but.....one more. When my mother returned to Todd's office for one of the 'tune-ups' he offered while my mother was learning how to use the new hearing aids, my mother mentioned how much she had loved listening to classical music. Todd played some Mozart on his computer..........my mother wept.......with tears of joy.........she could hear the music.........something she thought she would never experience again. My point in all this is.........don't give up......go see Todd.......the man is a miracle worker. read more
