I give my very highest recommendation to Todd with Great American Hearing Aid Company. The…read moreHearing aids I recently purchased from Great American Hearing Aid are my third pair. I bought a set from Costco about ten years ago and a set from Bose last year. The ones from Bose were over the counter and they amplified all sounds which helped in some ways and hurt in others. Very quickly the negative outweighed the positive and I didn't wear them. The Costco ones might have been good if the person who fitted them for me took half the time, half the effort and half as much attention as Todd did. These new hearing aids I just got are great but they are great because Todd took the time and effort to make them fit for me with my hearing loss and my ear canals. So far this new set has been perfect in every setting from watching TV AND being able to simultaneously hear and understand what my wife is saying to hearing little birds chirp at sunrise. I play in an amateur orchestra and I can better hear the instruments around me and hear the conductor. I am now part of conversation going out to dinner. Great American Hearing Aid Company is a family business and I feel like I am one of the family. If you think you have a hearing issue you owe it to yourself to go see Todd. You will not find a more caring or technically competent person to get fitted for hearing aids. For me, the entire experience was a good one and the outcome a great one. What I've learned is; you can buy hearing aids almost anywhere but to find a place and then a trained person to work with you to fit them to your needs and then assure, with included follow up appointments, that the hearing aids are working properly for your needs... that is found almost nowhere but it is at Great American Hearing Aid Company.

I met with Mr Todd Fasse, who turned out to be an extraordinary audiologist with highly professional skills. Todd walked me through a series of tests, then we ordered the appropriate hearing aids for my situation. Although they weren't cheap, but honestly, you get what you pay for in this case. Todd, who is an absolute pleasure to work with, took me through a series of thorough instruction and measurements to fine tune these aids for me. My whole world has changed dramatically, thanks to Todd. He is a true professional, with very thorough knowledge and wonderful personality to deal with. I have had follow up visits that allowed him to tweak the aids for improvement. In this world today, it was such a pleasure to be treated so professionally. Please.. do not waste your money on the cheap OTC hearing aids! The professional prescription hearing aids are a world of difference.

This review is not a reflection of the doctor, as we never had the opportunity to meet them. It is…read morebased entirely on the interactions with the receptionist while trying to schedule an appointment. My partner originally called the office in November 2025 regarding a specific hearing issue he had already been diagnosed with involving bone conduction. During that call, the receptionist said she wasn't familiar with the condition but told him she would check with the doctor. She later called back and said they were "not sure" whether it was something the doctor treated but suggested scheduling a hearing test anyway. The earliest appointment available was in March, so he agreed and waited. Fast forward nearly four months. The receptionist called the morning before the appointment to confirm it and immediately asked for his insurance information, saying he was supposed to have already provided it. Because the appointment had been scheduled months earlier and there had been no reminder emails or requests for information in the meantime, he had no recollection of being asked to send it ahead of time. When he said he didn't have the card in front of him and asked if he could simply bring it to the appointment, the response was dismissive and reprimanding, as if he had done something wrong. At that point he chose to cancel the appointment. What stood out most was that this wasn't a one-time awkward interaction. The tone from the receptionist during the original call months ago was similarly dismissive and unhelpful, and the same attitude was present again during the confirmation call. After waiting months for an appointment, the consistently unpleasant interactions made it clear that this is simply how patients are handled. This office appears to be one of the few hearing specialists located in Sedona, and with appointments booked months out it's clear they primarily serve local residents. That makes the tone at the front desk especially surprising. In a small community, the first interaction patients have with a medical practice matters. Front desk staff are the first point of contact for any medical office and represent the practice as a whole. Because of the repeated negative interactions, he ultimately chose to cancel the appointment and seek care elsewhere. If the doctor happens to see this, I would genuinely hope they take a closer look at how patients are being spoken to at the front desk. I am a Sedona resident and after waiting months for an appointment, it's unfortunate that the experience ended this way.
