It was very rude and I told the Manager that it seemed very inappropriate to ask such a thing to a mother. I will never shop there again. Too bad it was such poor quality of customer service. No signs saying that the price is for the basket only. When you get to the register, the staff acts weird as if a major problem has occurred. Then the manager comes to the front to inform that the price is for the basket ?!? Really, then why don't you identify the decorative items as such?!? Very annoying! Yesterday, I returned I noticed that the prices very unusual higher than previous days. I was interested in purchasing an item and was taking a final walk around before purchasing the item. All of a sudden, this guy comes up to me and hand signals that they are closing in 3 minutes. Waving three fingers in the air as if I was deaf? Really, it felt awkward and weird . Who does that?!? I left without buying anything. Customer service, regardless if it's a high end store or a local thrift shop is vital. Customers need to feel welcomed and comfortable while shopping! They had everything from a vintage Polaroid camera to motocross helmets to vintage dishes to clothing and beyond. Truly the store that has something for everyone. Very well organized and clean. The store is staffed by volunteers who are always very welcoming & helpful. The best little volunteer is the managers little dog (a papillon) who comes around and greets everyone.
