This is really Terri's frame shop; she's there working everyday. Her work on my 4 different sized…read moreitems was astounding; hard to believe they were the same pieces I had brought in. As I was overwhelmed and intrigued by the hundreds (1000+?) of frame options, she and I worked together for about 20 minutes to find a few different, simple yet stylish frames which at the time I thought would work out "OK," but in retrospect turned out fantastic. Her pricing was fair; she even commented that "framing is expensive." But for the quality and beauty that she was able to bring to these pieces, it's absolutely worth it; no regrets. She also was very generous when the total came out to be more than I expected, offering to split the cost into as many payments as necessary after an initial down payment. I'm thinking 40%, but not sure. This is my first experience going to a real frame shop, and I'm so glad that I chose Terri's!

We had a couple important photos that I was really worried about getting framed. One was a big 24 x 30. I was stressing about what to do with it. Their service is fast, easy, and simple. We stopped in and they made things way easier. Walked us through all the steps and helped us in what were looking for. This location has been around for a long time. We will definitely be using Frame Works in the future for all framing needs. The communication on the time and price was upfront and honest. Their buyer, Kathy, does an amazing job scattering brilliance throughout the store, and their decor is vibrant. I love their cards and coasters, and their lighting is so wonderful. Ingersoll Avenue is such a great visit, and Tandem is one of the must-stops.

I went back a second time to have another print framed but when I went to pick it up, was dismayed to see that it didn't come out as I had envisioned. Without hesitation, Josh listened to what I was unhappy about, we picked out new materials, and when I picked it up the second time, it was exactly as I had envisioned, no extra charge. I was in there Friday and thought it was a new store. Lots of cool stuff. They still have framed art and most of it is cool abstract and contemporary stuff, they say they still can get the old stuff if you want. All kinds of non framed stuff for your walls and other homes decor stuff like vases and wall sculpture. They have all kinds of cool gift stuff now, martini glasses and Michael Godard plates (the guy who paints live olives) Adn the prices seemed to be reasonable, more than something you buy at Target but much cooler! I am closing on a loft downtown in February and this is the place I am using to decorate it.
