Apparently this is a homophobic property. my husband and I were in the other day inquiring about floor plans and pricing. we've just relocated to Austin and have been looking for a place near work in Kyle. The assistant manager Rebeka was so rude and impersonal with us as we were wasting her time. lack of eye contact and she actually told us that this may not be a suitable place for us. We just left completely shocked and saddened, but we agreed it was not for us. discrimination is still sadly very much alive and we are hoping to find a welcoming home as other communities have been very kind. We are sure this is most likely not the case with everybody who is staffed there, but our one experience was enough to just walk away and seek a home elsewhere. read more

We just moved out after two years at The Green, and overall, it was a great experience. Like any apartment, there are pros and cons, but I believe it's hard to find a better place nearby, especially for the price. **Cons:** - The mobile app for opening the gates could be more stable. You have to scroll through a long list to access the front and back gates, and there is no way to rearrange the list. It's tedious for something you use daily. - The back gate is broken more often than it should be. - Some areas need landscaping, like the dog park, but with their other landscaping projects. Hopefully, they address that as well. **Pros:** - Pretty much everything else! - An abundance of high-quality amenities. - The office staff were always friendly, and most of the issues we had during our first year have been addressed (aside from the gate). The property has improved, and they've even started some impressive landscaping projects we wish they'd done sooner. - Never had a negative interaction with anyone on the property. Rent is a bit pricer than some of its competitors in the area, but it is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for." Overall, the things we didn't like were minor, and while we both disliked the app, it's easy to overlook, considering how peaceful, friendly, and luxurious the rest of the place is compared to others in the area. If we hadn't moved far away, we would have stayed. Overall, a well-deserved 5/5 Stars. read more

apartments have gone down hill in the last few months. used to be a cool, friendly apartment. has become predatory in their policies, unenjoyable to live in, and loud aggressive neighbors have moved in. high fines for animals. trash service is mandatory but inconsistent. strict pool policies. multiple amenities that frequently break and take months to repair. key FOB's and app frequently don't work. rent is extremely high for the current market. I recommend shopping around before you decide to come here, houses in the area are bigger, with a backyard for hundreds less ( least I mention the boiler fees and other hidden fees.) read more

I lived here for a year. They are very unorganized. Once got threatened with eviction with a paper in my door because they lost my rent check. On move in the cabinets were dirty and we found cat litter under our sink. They decided I was the lucky tenant to pay for new carpet that I know they replace every few years. They tried to make me pay for their renters insurance when I had my own but they "sent an email" before they charged me...they did not. You have to make maintenance requests for routine bug spraying and AC filter changes. They never picked up dog poop in the park. During the snow storm, they did nothing to maintain the parking lot/sidewalks so it was dangerous to even walk. The gates for security worked about 4 months out of the year. read more

flooding our lawn and constantly leaving the sprinklers on in it...to now them (or one of their vendors) letting someone into our apartment to look at it. They're saying it wasn't them, but their own tenant who they know enough to hire let me know. Even if it wasn't "their" staff, it was their vendor. Now we have a pool monitor that's more concerned with cuddling up with his girlfriend than doing his job. They charge all of these fees for shorty service. These people take zero responsibility and many of their former employees speak negatively about their office, management, and happenings. We have email after email from past issues. We thought they were finally done, but now this last one is the last straw. Not to mention we have to keep on top of them about the grounds, between dog poop and the hallways being filthy. We are SO HAPPY we bought a house and got out. The complex has changed, and not for the better.. Not worth the money. Go somewhere else. There are many options. In fact, a new complex just opened across the street. My husband and I are so disappointed. I'm sure they'll have some sort of retort, because they always do versus taking responsibility. Oh well. Doesn't change the facts. We thought the shenanigans were behind us, and we're fully ready to write a good review upon our departure. Like I said, the last situation was the final straw. If I could leave no stars, that is what I would do. This place nickels and dimes you to death! First, you have to pay $300.00 for them to get your pet's DNA, which does no good because there is dog poop everywhere. They think that know about all pets, and they DO NOT. No way is someone paying 75.00 for their pets. One pet is 25.00 per month. They claim that they have no control over their paying online, yet I have had Monica access it for me. My biggest complaint is that the maintenance guy is supposed to be able to get inside of the apartment at ant time. We changed the lock on the door and they said that we were going against the lease. He doesn't knock, he just opens the door and comes inside. Jodee, the manager is a total idiot. She has no idea what is going on out there. She has all of the staff lie. Supposedly they pick up dog poop, however I stepped in it and they said they were not going to do anything. You can always hear the people above you and if you complain, nothing is done. When you do pay by card on the website, they charge you 47.00 to do so!!! The place is actually nasty, after you get to walk around on your own, you will see. Not once last summer did anyone clean up the pool. It had green slime all over it. They say that they give you free car wash passes, yet they run out! I guess they want their cars clean first! We had someone get into our bank account right after we moved in. I gave them everything that I could get. Police report, FBI report, FDIC report and copies of our account. All Jodee would say is that it wasn't enough for her not to get eviction papers on us. Once the officer came to the door, I showed him everything that I had, he told me to take them to court. Monica kept telling me that she would take the fees off, but she lied too. Never did they give us anything. The people that I know living there are doing everything to get out!!! If you want to live at an apartment where the neighbors above is constantly stomping and pounding all day everyday this is the place for you. I miss the old management. The old management literally cared about the residents and stayed on top of things. Not sure on what's going with the new management. Anything major that happens I didn't know to last minute. Seems like there here for a pay check. When I first moved here it felt like home now that new management is here it feels like it's just a place to have a roof over my head. My rent and utilities went up with no kind of heads up or anything. They switched "utilities" companies I didn't know about until rent was due on the first and I was confused about what was going on. No need to ask questions about anything. It doesn't feel like a home anymore. If you have any questions about anything they pretty much suggest you to download an app. I'm tired of downloading apps for everything, management way of being lazy without communicating with residents. The Green at Plum Creek is excellent. It's one of those rare exceptions where you honestly can say nothing is bad. The grounds, landscaping, common areas, apartment hallways, clubhouse, pool area and exercise room are all kept spotless and well maintained. The fitness area is well equipped and always has bottled water and fresh towels. The club house is attractive and has complimentary coffee. On move in my apartment was pristine and clean. There is sufficient parking to assure that your vehicle is near your unit. If you do not want to go to the trash containers, valet service is offered overnight next to your apartment door. The staff are friendly and helpful. The complex is gated and safe. Since the rear of the complex faces the golf course and the left side of the complex is also partially on the course, you can be assured that another apartment won't be build to crowd out the Green. All Kyle shopping, restaurants and entertainment are within a 5 - 10 minute drive. Great place to live! read more

Can I give less than 1 star? This place. Where to begin? So sleazy. There are new apartments just built down the street. I would recommend going there! The big draw is the nice pool. But be prepared for a daily view of residents who get falling down drunk on any given day (not kidding, actually falling down.) Management started making us wear wristbands on the weekends to get in the pool because residents would show up with 10, 20 of their friends and kids and family for parties. Well, sometimes we had wristbands, when they had someone to work the gate. One of my favorite things is that CURRENTLY a Hays County Texas judge is on the lease of another Green at Plum Creek resident, even though the judge and his wife have a house in the neighborhood behind the apartments. They are allowed full use of ALL the Green amenities including golfing, the pool (bringing their kids and family there), attending all the free food and drink resident events and full use of the gym (they once said they didn't want to pay for actual gym memberships). Recently they hosted a very large party--and police were called for noise violations and apparently, they were threatened with ticketing--but, you know, he's a judge. No idea how that party was 'approved' since 'residents' are only allowed 2 guests in the pool area! Some "swinging" activity going on too! And the cars that have been stolen. Out of a gated parking lot. Oh, and the police showing up with flashing lights became a more common occurrence! In the tiny town of Kyle, you don't expect to see the police on a regular basis outside your apartment. Apparently 5 police cars there yesterday, in the MORNING. And the leasing office will act like it's nothing to be concerned about. And wait until you move out! They will charge you for unimaginable things. I personally have a bit of OCD and am **overly clean** yet upon move-out, I was charged for things that couldn't possibly be true. read more

I do like living here. The greenery is maintained. I see landscapers frequently. The amenities are nice and very clean. I do appreciate the free offerings like the golf pass, the car wash pass, & the vacuuming area. However, I have 3 reasons why this complex is getting docked 3 stars. #1. All of the leasing agents/ property managers are inconsistent. There's Mabel, Jodee, Monica, & Stacee. Monica is the best in my opinion. Very kind & stays on top of things. The rest of them? Useless. I can send an email & get surprised when I actually get a reply. Sometimes I don't get anything in return, which is frustrating as hell. When I can, I do go into the office and coincidentally its empty almost 90% of the time. I've seen them chatting it up in the back office. But they can't reply to emails? #2 the parking situation... for a complex to say they don't require stickers or assign parking is fine for the free spaces. However, for them to also say towing patrols is a total lie. I've never seen a tow truck roll through here. You're probably thinking "we'll just because YOU haven't seen it, doesn't mean a truck doesn't patrol". And yes. You're correct. However, if a tow truck did a patrol, they would have towed the cars that take up more than one space & the cars that park in the covered parking spaces. I was told the aforementioned was a towable offense. Keep in mind, the covered parking is $50 a month. It is assigned. And you are given a sticker to place in the windshield to prove you're in your assigned space. As I'm typing this, several cars without stickers are parking in the covered parking. And have been for days. This is infuriating because if I'm paying, and they're not and not getting towed, why should I pay? If the covered parking is getting treated like a free for all, why pay? It's unfair and I wish these leasing agents/property managers would do something about it. I don't blame the people who shouldn't park there because of course, there's no signs saying not to park there unless you have a sticker. But there's an opportunity for something to get taken advance of, people will take advantage of it. #3 the people here who own dogs seldom clean up after them. The office swabs the dog's mouths when you include them on the lease or at least you're supposed to register them. It's under the guise that they're actually going to be testing the feces they find. I'm fairly certain they don't. The dog park had feces all over it. I don't take my dog in fear of my pet contracting a disease from other dogs' poop. This complex is adequate at best and mediocre at worst. The management is ineffectual. I think they talk a lot of important sounding stuff then never actually pull through. And let us not forget that the flashy gate to enter the complex has been broken for over a month. The people who are meant to maintain order, don't do it. It makes no sense to me. I'm curious to know if this review gets deleted or if I get blacklisted. It's annoying getting told the covered parking is reserved and whatever else, but then not enforce it. Went to look for an apartment as we are moving from downtown Austin to Kyle or buda and there was one lady in the office and she was very uninterested in showing us the apartment. We had a list of apartments to see and this was the top one we wanted to view but her costumer service was so bad that we just said never mind and left. Customer service is very big to me especially when looking for a place to live for a year. If she would of had a good attitude we probably would of leased here. Sadly poor management staff will get you low occupancy, I hope they fix it! read more

DO NOT RENT HERE! You will never see a manager and the weekend staff is rude and unhelpful. They make it difficult for you to turn in your keys, refuse to do a final walkthrough and charge you extra fees on your statements not to mention billing you twice for the same thing and then lying to you about what is is for. Stayed here for a year and a half and absolutely loved it. This place has hands down the best maintenance staff I've encountered yet. Only submitted about 3 requests for minor things, but they would always respond as if I were top priority. The apartment itself is very well-lit and clean. Beautiful golf course behind it and great amenities for the community. The office staff have always been super friendly and eager to offer a helping hand. My only complaint is not really a fault of the apartment, more so the city I suppose. I had two pretty awful neighbors. That's it. Move here if you need to be in Kyle! read more

Fell in love with the property at first. It is beautiful, and backs directly up to the Plum Creek Golf Course. The apartment itself looks nice at first, but after a while things started to fall apart due to poor workmanship. Kitchen/Bathroom drawers both fell out and had to be fixed multiple times. My a/c went out during the summer on a 100 degree day. The guy who came to fix it told me it was because I had a box in the closet blocking the vent. I cleaned out the closet after the a/c was "fixed", yet it still went out again. This happened probably three times. A few times my a/c even flooded the residents who lived below me. My car was hit in the parking lot and when I went to complain to the office they acted like they didn't even care. Multiple car break-ins occurred thanks the "gates" that are broken half the time. There were even a few incidents where the lug nuts on the tires of people's cars had been meddled with. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more
