(It goes out about every two years.) It's always been an easy, quick adjustment that I've had many time before from chiropractors in other areas, so I figured I could go in and quickly get it popped back into place. This time was different, though. I paid for the first visit and the Dr. listened to my concerns and then proceeded to do the most intense two adjustments I have ever experienced in over fifty years of receiving chiropractic work. I was stunned by how strongly he adjusted the hip and it hurt worse after the adjustment than before. I then said that I preferred motion palpation level adjustments (which are very gentle) and he then proceeded to give me an incredibly intense adjustment of my atlas and axis at the top of my neck....and, to be fair, this C!/C2 adjustment has lasted and I've had no further discomfort at the top of my cervical spine. OTOH, the hip adjustment hurt very badly for several days afterward--enough that it was extremely painful while trying to sleep for about five days afterward...and still bothers me at night a month later. The day after the adjustments I called the clinic and said I would have no further adjustments because the adjustments were so intense. Since it is now almost a month later and the hip is still tender and I have to protect it very carefully while sleeping, I'm writing a review because I feel I need to alert others about the intensity of the adjustments I received at Quality Chiropractic. I 've also had to change jobs at work on a couple different days because of hip tenderness and pain...and I still get occasional very sharp shots of pain. I cannot say that I'd recommend this practice to anyone, unless your idea of chiropractic is to get incredibly strong adjustments. I'm not happy to provide a negative review, but I really feel like people need to know what I experienced before they decide to try Quality Chiropractic.

My Mayo Family Med doctor referred me to Active PT. What a blessing that was. I made an appointment with Kayla and have had nothing but success. I have seen her 1-2 times a week for a month and she has taught me various exercises that has resolved my pain. She also applied cupping to my muscles and that has helped as well. As long as I keep up with the exercises she taught me, I should not have to go back. Kayla has me in a good place physically and it's now up to me to keep myself there. They did a thorough Range of motion consultant before the doctor came in. Then the chiropractor came in and consulted me as well. They went over all the financials and once I reviewed them and agreed to them, than I had my adjustment. I really appreciated this. I'm looking forward to getting adjusted more frequently! The only thing I did not like was that it was connected to a dispensary. I don't mind it being next store, but I wish there was a bit of a separation between the two. I felt weird walking into the business.

Dr. Buchanan is really nice, caring, and knowledgeable. He is always concerned about whether I am feeling pain or discomfort in any part of the treatment. It can be a little scary hearing your neck and back crack but he is reassuring about it and says "Great job!". Kim helped me out during 2 of my visits. She's a very funny and positive spirit.
