Had Bennett Landscaping come for a spring cleanup that I was disappointed in. While he came when he…read moresaid he was going to come the quality of the work was not worth the price ($1,200). I had him build beds around my new deck and requested that he split some hostas to put in those new beds. The hostas were put in uneven and I had to have him come back to straighten out the beds as they were noticeable uneven. He left a pile of dirt when he was creating the beds and just left it until I specified asked him to remove it. A fallen tree that I asked him to push back wasn't fully done, which was the reason why I had him come to do this cleanup. The leaves and debris from the lawn were just pushed to the end of the yard rather than fully out of sight so you could still see all the debris that was blown. After mowing the lawn, nothing was blown off. They never came back to cut the backyard that was inside a fenced in area and he didn't weed whack anything by the fence. Overall the spring cleanup was not up to my expectations. I was eager to give him business as I know he's relatively new having a business. Will not use him again.

OMG these guys are the best. Our 'regular' pumping company reacted to our call for 'same day'…read moreservice with an appointment for 22 days from now. When we told them that it was backing up into our basement, they said they would let us know if there was a cancellation. I called Smith, and Ashley made things happen. She was friendly and understanding of the urgency of the situation. She took my number and called back within 15 minutes, telling me that she could get a truck there sometime today between 11 and 3:30. She went over pricing, and I know they could not have charged me for the 'rush.' When the guy got here, at 11:30!!!!!, he could not have been more nice or professional. We have found our new 'septic professionals.' Update 08/15/2015 We had a problem with our main line, and needed it snaked. Smith could snake from the tank to the foundation, but not past that (I assume due to licensing restrictions, but I didn't ask) and I did not think that would solve our problem. The woman on the phone was both sympathetic and helpful, even suggesting we call another local company!! I took the number for 'the competition,' and thanked her very much. What an amazing company!!

I personally did not hire JRD for landscaping & tree service but had a bad experience when they…read morewere hired to cut my neighbor's trees. On May 9, 2023, when JRD cut my neighbor's tree, they neglectedly dropped the branches of the trees onto my yard, onto my lilac and hydrangeas. When I first saw that happened, I came talk to the team for them to be mindful that I had several plants in that area and please do not drop broken trees on top of my plants. Noted I was not notified in advance this was happening nor there was my permission at all for all of this to happen on my property. As a result, several of my hydrangeas were broken to over half of their size, and same as the lilac. It is now 1/3 of the size of its twin sister on the other side of my house. I am now questioning my rights on my possessions located inside my own property! I contacted the owner right then and he said would have my plants replaced. Today, over a month after I contacted him, I never had any plant replaced and he did not respond after several follow up.
