The menu is on the food truck which offers appetizers, main courses as well as desserts. My fiance and I shared the Hawaiian plate which gave us the opportunity to try a little bit of everything. Service was very quick as it only took about 5 minutes for our order to be ready. The Hawaiian plate came with a mac salad, side of white rice, BBQ short ribs, shredded pork and chicken with pineapple. It's hard for me to pick a favorite since I really enjoyed everything, it was well balanced and cooked perfectly. My fiance did mention his favorite was the chicken. The tacos were very good!! I had steak tacos and al pastor tacos. You can order with just onion and cilantro or with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. I order a mix of both and they were delicious. I hadn't tried them before but SSB highly recommended them. I talked to Kathy, the owner, via phone & email & she made it so easy . Menu options were clearly priced and ingredients noted, which was great since we have one with celiac disease, one vegetarian & one avoiding dairy. Those options were covered without having to special order anything. They set it all up with warming trays before the event & made it easy for me to clean up afterward. Payment was also easy. ALL of their tamales, sides, dips, salsa & chili crunch were delicious! We had PLENTY and were able to send some home with people. Since Kathy's husband & daughter did the set up, I didn't meet Kathy until recently when their food truck was at SSB. It was really fun to meet her and try the Italian Beef tamale! After moving to the suburbs a few years ago, I never found a good tamale that lived up to the ones I grew up eating. Tamales + changed all that. Their tamales are just so amazingly delicious. The texture is exactly what it should be and the flavor-I've never tasted anything so amazing. The Lizzo dip is also absolutely astounding and the service is friendly, quick, and amazing.
