One of the best Burritos I had in the area. I Prefer this location over Cilantro and Chipotle. Great service and relaxing night atmosphere.

The best steak tacos thus far! You will not be disappointed. I wasn't a fan of the rice and beans.

I sadly didn't take a picture since my bf ate them so fast! I did order the Birria ramen which was warm and comforting. I found the broth to be flavorful and the noodles not too mushy or crunchy. The meat portions were generous too. 5/5 Service: Service was okay! It seemed like there was one bartender and one server that night. There were times where I wanted another drink but the bartender wasn't around since she was restocking. I believe having a bar back would have helped with overall service. When she was serving us, she was very nice though. 4/5 Ambiance: the restaurant was still decorated from the Christmas time but it was cute! They have a very instagram-pic ready environment! They were playing quiet dancing music and they do have televisions for viewing pleasure. 5/5

When we arrived, the deal wasn't listed on the menu, and our server told us they actually stopped offering it about two months ago. She was kind enough to give us a small $2 discount for the inconvenience, but the miscommunication was still frustrating. When our food came out, we realized there were no utensils on the table. We had to flag someone down just to be able to start eating. Unfortunately, once we did eat, everything was cold and pretty bland. For the price and the hype, it was really disappointing. The restaurant itself is small, crowded, and very loud, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, especially with so many other brunch spots in the area that offer better food and better service.

Once seated, our waiter took our drink orders and they made good cocktails. Then, we ordered an appetizer and dinner at the same time for ease. Then...we waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, we asked about our appetizer and they said it would be coming out soon. People who were seated after us got served but our food hadn't come. And we waited. The food was delicious when we got it, but it took a really long time. I ordered the most expensive item on the menu and I'd give it a 10 out of 10 for flavors- Torro carne asada! The queso fundido and the tacos were also delicious! When they brought the bill, it was clear they knew the experience overall wasn't great because they put two cards for $10 off two meals but didn't say anything about the experience. I would have appreciated a gesture during the time we were there - an appetizer, a drink, another thing to try, just to say, sorry about the wait and we value you and your experience, but that didn't happen. We were so excited to have a new place, but I don't think we'll go back.

FUNDIDO FOR YOU & ME…read more Melty cheese is always a hit, and Burritos Mi Tierra does it better than most. In picking our date nights, my wife and I alternate between trying new places and revisiting a dozen or so "greatest hits". If we find ourselves in the mood for tried-and-true margaritas, we'll come to this family-owned restaurant in Romeoville about a mile south of I-55 on Weber Rd. Their house chips & salsa are awesome--the green salsa is milder while the red salsa is hotter. You can get a large margarita frozen or on-the-rocks ($15), but expect them to be strong either way. My wife enjoys their Michelada ($9), a drink similar to a bloody mary that's made with beer instead of vodka. We always get the queso fundido con chorizo ($10.75), a marvelously greasy appetizer that comes with corn or flour tortillas. Sometimes our tummies are fine afterwards, sometimes the grease goes through us like an angry lightning bolt. It's so good I'll happily suffer the consequences the next day, IDGAF. Bread = 4.5 Circuses = 4.5 Tacos al pastor ($3.50/ea) get a thumbs-up, however the tampiqueña ($22) was a little disappointing. I know skirt steak is generally a tougher cut, but this was greyer and chewier than what I've gotten at other places. It was served with an enchilada, rice, beans, lettuce and tomato. The best thing on the menu is unquestionably the burrito suizas ($11), a gigantic 1-1/2lb burrito filled with meat, beans, veggies and sour cream with melted cheese on top. It's as tasty as it is massive and will feed a hungry person for two meals! Their vanilla flan ($4.50) is pretty good, too. * TL;DR * Burritos Mi Tierra is one of our favorite Mexican spots in the area, and the unexpected closure of Naperville's On the Border (R.I.P) means we'll probably come back here more often. Service has been consistent, the décor is cute, and their margaritas are some of the best around. Queso fundido and burrito suizas are standout dishes, authentic and fairly-priced. We hope these guys remain in business for a long time! Muy recomendable.
